Habbo Hotel is an online chat-game... Pretty much, you make your character, and yo ucan go to various hotel rooms (including public restaurants, swimming pools, etc; or private hotel rooms that yo ucan create, buy furniture for, and own) and chat to people.
I, though I don't mean to boast, was among the first 1,000 people ever to register with Habbo Hotel (back in like.. 1998, when it first started). I don't play it anymore, though, when I do, i play the global habbo hotel (www.habbo.com); though i AM australian.
