The Last Movie You Saw?

douzy
What was the last movie you saw? Mine was the Gridiron Gang. That movie is really impressive.
Vylom
The last movie i saw is Jack Ass 2 and there arent many words to describe the movie. To say the least johny knoxville is insane. A.K.A. He almost dies twice and laughs about it. Also watching a midget run around naked in a meeting is quite enjoyable to say the least. Truly a beutiful movie, a masterpiece of modern art and an elegance which is not yet discovered in many movies is the midget. Time to ditch your scripts and make sure you have a midget in it.
eggg
Heh. The last one was Equus. I had to see the movie after I watched a few local students perform the play one silly night. It was very good.

Before that, it was White Zombie. It's a zombie movie from the 30's starring Bela Lugosi, set in Haiti. Definitely up there on my black and white horror list!
mattchun
The Notebook.

It's obviously a Hollywood production of romance movie. You may have seen such a movie for thousands of times, but you still keep on going.
allanxiao
The last one I saw was Dead Man's Chest. I felt it was a bit long, and Jonny Depp's performance wasn't as good as in the first episode.

IB exams are coming soon, so don't really have time to go out much.

Click

I would rate it 6.5/10. The plot is pretty simple and acting is sort of ok ! but the movie conveys a good message at the end. Overally a good timepass movie.
Manofgames
Memoirs of Geisha.

Its a very good film, the quality of picture is superb, and thankfully the film isn't in subtitles.

Its slightly hard to keep up with some parts of the film, as there are points where the actors speakm quickly, or in hished tones, and it becomes hard to understand their words through thier accent.

overall I thought it was a very good film.

I'd give it 8/10.
SimonWSTS
Last film I saw at the cinema was "My Super Ex-Girlfriend". I can safely say that there was very little plot and only mildly funny gags. Altogether I would not recommend it.

On a lighter note, I'll be in the line to see "The Guardian" soon, that looks to be a really good film.
rein
the last one i saw was Hard Candy

An intriguing story about a 14 year old girl who meets with a thirty-ish photographer she meets on the internet. He might be hiding something, but she may not be as innocent as she seems. A definate must-see!

Hard Candy
Helios
Snakes on a plane.

Very fun movie Very Happy

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0417148/

I'll give it 8/10 Smile

One scene that I enjoyed was when the steward (I think) cought a snake and put it in a microwave, then pressed a on the microwave "SNAKE" + "START", and the snake exploded... hehe that was funny.
gh0strec0n_legit
Last movie I saw was...Idk can't remember the name but it was really funny, 9/10 but it was a dirty movie so someone will probaly remember it, nevermind I do now it's Clerks. That movie was hilarious and wrong at the same time. Very Happy
rightclickscott
I don't really remember, but I believe Mike pulled me aside to watch Dodgeball calling it the "funniest movie ever." It was pretty funny, but not as funny as he made it out to be. Because I want to be a jack*ss like everyone else, I give it a 7.9578237564725943792384934/10.

my tutor friend-a korean movie

er.. Da Vinci Code.
It's really convicing...
Makes you wonder...

last movie i saw in the theatres was 'click'... and i didnt like it much.. starts out well and is quite funny initially but slows down to a drag in the second half.. i wont rate it more than 5/10..
the movie i saw before that was 'over the hedge'... cool and hilarious.. now am waiting for 'open season' to release...

The devil wears prada

This was a pretty enjoyable movie. . . much better than APHC which I last saw Meryl Streep in. We decided to go because of rotten weather here& this would be a perfect rainy day movie. Anne Hathaway is an very, very beautiful young woman with gorgeous eyes. All the actors were good. a real treat for those who like fashion. Story very predictable and reminds me of old Hollywood movies of the 40's & 50's . I was disappointed in end and found several (or more!) plot devices rather unbelievable. But still nice to see a movie with people beautifully dressed & made up and absence of foul language and gratuitous sex!

6/10

The last movie that I saw is "Da Vinci Code".
To tell you the true, I didn't really like it, I didn't like this zaner of Movies.
It more adventure, mysteri, and I don't like it, I like more the action, the fun and the horror.
webgeek
The last movie I saw was King Kong. I know it was ages ago, but I just don't have the time right now to go to movies.
althalus
The last movie I saw was Robin Hood: Men in Tights. Very Happy Imo one of Mel Brooks' funnier movies, althought I quite like Spaceballs too.
Kelcey
I think the last movie I saw was Crash... it was that movie that deals with racism and such. It was pretty good.
blarchitect
We saw "The Departed" last night. It was billed as a return to form for Martin Scorsese. It's not. Overlong, far-fetched plot. I don't mind swearing and violence in movies but this films contains way too much.
Leonardo DeCaprio shines, Jack Nicholson did a good Jack Nicholson, but Mark Wahlberg was awful.
talonsmallville
Hi People,

Yesterday night on HBO, I saw Cursed, with Christina Rice and Joshua Jackson.
I liked.

I change my bet very times about who did infect her and her brother. It´s was cool.

My note for this movie is 8.5.
ashok
last one i watched is "open season"..

Laughing good fun.. animation's quality's pretty but can be done much better.. for me the screenplay was just above average.

The two scenes in the forest, one when the dam breaks and the last one chasing the hunters were damn funny.. good entertainment.
kany
The last movie that i saw was
The last Samuri
and the hero was Tom Cruise . That was a nice movie and after that i just haven't seen any other movie.
nitesh
Watched "sneakers" yesterday .. its rated 7/10 at imdb and I would say its definitely over-rated. Movie deals with computer security/cryptography ect and i found was pretty lame for a 7 rating at imdb. Maybe the cast was one of the reasons for a 7 rating.
HoboPelican
The last movie I saw was "Plan 9 From Outer Space". Taped it from last week and finally got to see it....What a great bad movie! If you haven't seen this awful "Z" movie, you have got to rent it, get some friends overs, have a few beers and pop this sucker in. If you dont laugh your butt off, you need help. Wink

Quote:

Intro by Criswell: Greetings, my friend. We are all interested in the future, for that is where you and I are going to spend the rest of our lives. And remember my friend, future events such as these will affect you in the future. You are interested in the unknown... the mysterious. The unexplainable. That is why you are here. And now, for the first time, we are bringing to you, the full story of what happened on that fateful day. We are bringing you all the evidence, based only on the secret testimony, of the miserable souls, who survived this terrifying ordeal. The incidents, the places. My friend, we cannot keep this a secret any longer. Let us punish the guilty. Let us reward the innocent. My friend, can your heart stand the shocking facts of grave robbers from outer space?

The Last movie I saw in theaters was "The Illusionist". Very good, but you have to pay attention.

The Last movie I was was "Lucky Number Sleven", which, again is a very good movie, but you have to pay attention.

it's been a long time since I saw "Superman Return" last time...
Lord Klorel
The last film i saw was The Da Vinci Code.

I liked that movie with all these riddles.

"El crimen ferpecto". Good. Smile

... but trying to have some free time to watch "Pickpocket", from Bresson.

Last one I seen was "The Departed." I didn't think I would like it but was really surprised how good it was and was surprised it has done so well too.

Hm... the last movie I saw was "Miami Vice," I think... Oh yeah, it was because my friend dragged me along. I didn't plan to watch that movie at all -- actually, I hadn't heard of it till my friend dragged me along with him... But, well, actually, the movie was good. Though, having also dragged him to watch "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest" (in an almost revenge, I suppose you can say *grin*)... I thought "Dead Man's Chest" was better. The ending? Totally, completely blew me damn far, far away. *huge toothy grin*

I watched The Ice Harvest last night.. I had read the book a couple months before, and while the book was decent, the movie was not nearly as good.. I'd recommend it as something to watch on a weekend when you have nothing else to do and if you get a copy for free.. I would have been very disappointed if I had actually paid to rent it

If you like (fairly old) French cinema, you'll like 'Jules et Jim'. I saw this years ago and couldn't find it, to the point where I thought I'd dreamt the plot up. I found it last week on DVD and it's fantastic.
em0o
the last movie I saw in the theatres was The Devil Wears Prada I think.
imera
The butterfly effect -- I have seen it once before and I didn't understand the movie untill the end :0P But now that I know and understand I can watch it and understand everything from the begining. I love the move, not one of my favourite but one of my top 20's

Been some time since I seen one.

Last has been:

One of the best movies in the past ten years, highly recommend it

I just saw Lucky Number Slevin. Very entertaining film with smart writing and the acting was great as well

The last movie i saw was the horror-movie "Silent Hill". It was evil, disguisting, scary - I hated it, and I could not sleep untill 2am because I still felt like I was in the movie.

Just like a horror movie should be :)
sergio_san_san
The perfume, but I have to say that the book it is far better than the movie.
leat397
The last movie I saw was a Hong Kong movie called "Exciled". It described a gangs of five people who once were triad members and unable to escape from the Boss.

Whereas the last western movie I saw was the Click. A funny and warmy movie this year Very Happy

Right now a crappy Van Damme movie called Double Impact is playing on the TV in the background, before that I was watching The Usual Suspects - superb movie, that.

The most recent film I've seen at the cinema was Snakes On A Plane. Great, if you don't take it at all seriously. On DVD, it was The Butterfly Effect, which while let down in a few places was a good movie.
zamolxes
Just got me Cannibal Holocaust, a film I saw on TV a long time ago. It marked my "fragile little mind" at that time... with some scenes I'll never forget. Watching it again now I thought the movie wasn't so well done, but those amazonian scenes filmed in "hand-held camera style" are still amazing. I'll give it a 10 out of 10 for just a few extremely impressive amazonian scenes of primitive people doing very barbaric things... and 4 out of 10 for the rest of the movie. The al'round would be.... 5 (because the 10 out of 10 scenes aren't that many).

I saw this one too and I didn't think it was so bad, but I read others commenting on it and saying they've hated it. Not sure why. OK, it's not a good movie, but I didn't think it was that bad...

Last thing I've seen is quiet an old movie... it's called Talented Mr. Ripley. And I liked it alot. It was one of the movies that aren't hyped out and the bigger is the surprise when you get to see em.

Story is about young man, Thomas Ripley, who at first glance doesn't have any skill, ability.... any TALENT. As time goes by we can see that he's not what he looks like... his special talent is to imitate people's behavior, habits... everything. Well for the sake of those who haven't seen it I won't go into further detail but I strongly recommend this one!

Have any of you seen SAW3?

The Hills Have Eyes... in two words: Dreadful and disgusting.

Id like to say that the last movie i saw was deep and thoughtful but id be lying! i saw X-Men 3:the last stand and i must say that it was not much of a movie if youre looking for some questionraising thought provoking insights. but i must confess that it is a pretty good movie anyho. it has great entertainment value and i must give it a 7/10. the action alone could let you spend a night infront of the tv and not feel it is a wasted night!
cheers! cya

Last night I saw House of Wax. twas good. I will find out Talented Mr Ripley.

The Butterfly Effect. It’s the second time I seen it, my wife hadn’t before and I thought it was really good the first time around. I heard they made a sequel, is it any good. My favorite part of The Butterfly Effect is where the little guy gets throttled by his father (that scene just made my mind race with possibilities for why they guy is trying to kill him), and its really cool when you see why the guy goes crazy.
medievalman26
Casino Royale would be the last one I saw.

Poseidon. Pretty good movie, but I didn't find the movie that interesting. In my opinion its Titanic > Poseidon Razz

I watched Stephen King’s IT last night, first time in years.

A good movie and it has aged pretty well. It was nice to see it again after such a long time. I had forgotten it starred the late great John Ritter – such a loss.

I rarely rate Stephen King Movies (the books are much better) but this along with Misery, Carrie, Salem’s Lot and Cujo and to an extent Cat’s Eye (that was the movie with the unique way to quit smoking right?) these movies make a good selection. After that list maybe I do rate his movies.

I kind of liked the story in Pet Sematary but the little boy looked a lot like our own little boy and we found it hard to watch the movie – it really made us sad.

Of course of the other ‘Stephen King’ movies The Shawshank Redemption is a class act and I recommend it to anyone but the Running Man has dated quite a bit but is still an ok waste of time.

the last movie i saw was you me and dupree. i was laughing hard most of the time. I can't imagine leaving with someone like dupree.

I am having a bit of a run on older horror flicks at the moment and have been over-dosing on Steven King movies, the Hellraiser movies and now…

…I just have to comment on the Bride of Chucky. I have just finished watching it for the first time and I absolutely loved it.

I loved this, the fourth instalment of the Child’s Play Franchise after watching parts one, two and three in quick succession over the last few evening, I watched the first one in the 80’s but had never seen the sequels before this week.

I enjoyed all the movies but this one I adored, not so much for the horror value but for the comic value and way it was put together - Lots of fun!

I am now looking forward to watching the Seed of Chucky which I fear may not be up to the standard set by The Bride of Chucky. It was just such a unique movie, like a new slant on an old formula.

I know it is fairly old now but if you haven’t seen it I recommend it for comic value alone.

I just saw Deck the Halls a couple days ago.

for me, its the Tooth Fairy....

its some sort of scary specially when someone besides you scream out loud everytime the tooth fairy killed people! nyahahahA!

BUT IN movie THEATER, its DOA dead or alive, ive watch it w/ my uncle in mall of asia located at roxas boulevard Philippines. its only one way trip from my hause, hehehe! LOL!

I watched this film last night and was pleasantly suprised. I'd heard rumours it fell into the 'so bad it's good' category but that really isn't true. I found it to be a genuinely good entertaining movie. Yes the CGI snakes looked like CGI snakes and the dialogue was almost entirely cheesy one liners and the plot was ridiculous but I'm sure that's exactly how it was supposed to be.

Great fun, check it out.

Deja Vu, Great film, strange and hard to follow at times, but otherwise good. If anyone says it's about timetravel, and you don't like timetravel films, it's more than that, so i recommend it.

SEE IT NOW! Smile

last movie i saw was Casino Royale. By far I would rate it as the best bond movie ever. it was a excellent performance by daniel craig (if i remember correctly), and he proved wrong all those critiques out there that said he wouldn't fit the role.
I think he's brought some new and better aspects into the character and I can't wait to see him in the next bond movie lol.

Don't laugh but my dad and I saw Happy Feet yesterday. It was a pretty good movie.

"Requiem for a dream" (finally!).
GREAT film, with some cinematic language stuff really awesome, like the mother seeing herself in a video-look effect on her apartment.
... and the steadicam-self-doped-shots. How did the actors took the weight of a film camera?! (at least 10kg)

The last movie I saw was Material Girls with Hillary Duff. Wow, this movie sucks big time! It was not my choice to go, but you know, the girl likes those soft princess comedies. Well, even she admitted that this was the worst movie of 2006. We go like twice to the movies every week. So we've seen a bunch! It was so predictable, the humor so low. I felt like even sleeping during the movie was a waste of my time Laughing

I finished watching The Coast Guard today. I had it on my computer for about 2 weeks but never got any time to watch it. Movie was too deep for me. Most of Kim Ki Duk's films are. I'm pretty sure someone here saw Spring, Summer, Winter, Fall....and Spring. Coast Guard was deeper than that. I guess watching it depends on the right time and mood.

Saw it tonight, Lonely Hearts, and was taken by surprise. This is by far the best movie I've seen that I've never heard of before. Knowing nothing about it except for the IMDB preview and a glimpse of the trailer, I was more than pleasantly surprised to watch this. Lonely Hearts doesn't back down and goes balls to the wall when it comes to portraying some pretty provocative and controversial material. It probably won't make it big in the theaters because it won't be shown in alot of markets, but believe me when I say it's worth it to make the effort and watch this movie. You won't be disappointed and it's better than most other shite that's out there playing right now

the last movie i saw in the theatre was The Good Shepherd, which by the way is not worth 9 dollars to go see... they showed all the action there is in the previews. the movie is very slow and very long as well for it being not action packed oriented. its one to see on dvd if you want to see it, but just note there is not a whole lot of action in it like other matt damon movies.

I just saw Pursuit of Happiness. Man that is a sad movie. I really did not want to see it but I got drafted into seeing it with my family two days ago.

The last movie i saw was Cold Mountain, with Nicole Kidman and Rene Zellweger. It's a love story in the of the american civil war. A great movie for a guy to watch with a girl. Some violent scenes, some love scenes (the violence isn't very hard but it's realistic). Naked Nicole Kidman in the end. Yay! Very Happy

The last movie I saw was "The Good Shepherd" with Matt Damon, Angelina Jolie and Robert De Niro.

It wasn't what I expected obviously, The trailer promised more action judging by the scenes, but all I got was small talk. I thought there would be CIA staged kidnappings, assasinations and so on because it goes beyond the 60's.

Just watched Jackass 2.

OMG someone is going to be killed making these movies. As each movie comes around the stunts have to be more outrageous and dangerous.

I am not a bog fan of the stunts they pull involivng bodily fluids and waste products - I could do without that kind of stuff to be honest.

But many of the stunts are way out funny and you are amazed that these people are willing to put their bodies through them.

PS I loved the amazing double-standard of not encouraging anyone to copy the stunts or not to send your own home-made videos of stunts in because they don't want to encourage the lunatic fringe.

We then make a number of Jackass movies AND Johnny Knoxville lands a lead roll in a Major Hollywood franchise like the Dukes of Hazard!

Hmmm, what message are we sending out to the kids really?

Its worth getting your face burned off with a blow-torch because there might just be a big paycheck at the end of it for you.

Okay, mini-rant over.

It was a strange movie, but as usual Mel Gibson did a work of wonder!!!!

rocky balboa was the last film i seen.I expected to go all Scrooge on Sylvester Stallone's sixth round as Rocky Balboa, the Italian Stallion from Philly who boxed his way into popular and Oscar glory with the first and best Rocky in 1976. And make no mistake, there is much here to cringe at. Thirty years later, the sixty-year-old Stallone, as writer, director and star, has put himself back in the ring with a champ -- this time he's played by light-heavyweight Antonio Tarver. It's an exhibition match in Vegas, for charity, and Stallone looks damn fit for a geezer. It's his screenplay that needs major toning. No sappy clichˇ goes untapped as Rocky runs a restaurant named after his dead wife, Adrian, whose grave he visits daily. He takes guff from pal Paulie (Burt Young) and worries about his son, Robert (Milo Ventimiglia), who helps him prep for the big fight. It's a brutal regimen. But Rocky has "a beast inside him." Just when you're ready to puke, the old Bill Conti theme ("Gonna Fly Now") kicks in -- are you feeling it? -- Stallone steps in the ring and every day is Christmas. All together now: Rock-ee! Rock-ee!

The last movie I saw was Because I Said So with Diane Keaton and Mandy Moore. It wasn't as bad as the reviews have made it out to be really, though it *IS* super cheesy and melodramatic. It was also really forced and predictable, I mean you could literally figure out every plot twist in the movie by about minute 15.

Diane Keaton was so so, I kinda felt sorry for her, she deserved a better script really. Mandy Moore is actually a pretty decent actress, though I much preferred her in Saved!.

Just finished watching two movies back to back.

First was The Dirty Sanchez Movie, VERY funny and better than Jackass without a doubt. No so much fecel humour which I really struggle with. I was laughing and hiding my eyes at the same time - great stuff.

Second Was The Texas Chainsaw Massacre - The Beginning. Also quite a good movie, pretty gory but a lot of fun and a good insight into how leatherface came to be and how the crazy Hewitt family we encountered in the remade Texas Chainsaw Massacre came to be as twisted as they were.

A very enjoyable afternoon of distraction and time off from the forum at last! Laughing

I watched A Petal today. It was surprising to see a movie based on the Kwangju mass. The movie was made in 1996 so I couldn't expect much. Too bad only one director has been brave enough to make a film over the controversial event. Hopefully another director can make something happen.

I watched Babel. Not nearly as good as I thought it would be. They were confused as to what message they were trying to make, and ended up not making one at all.

the last movie i saw was rocky balboa, his final installation of the movie. i thought it was more of a closure for him ratuer than making it a good movie. im glad he got that off his chest. the dude still looks hella buff. but damn the story line ws garbage...all and all. go watch it if you are a fan of rockey.

I gotta agree with you on that one. It was pretty hard to follow when for most of the movie you could only make out 1 or 2 words in each sentence Rocky said Laughing

Last movie I saw was Reno 911 Miami. It was midly entertaining with several funny scenes. It still was pretty stupid. Then again as long as it is better than Borat I am happy.

Last film(s) I saw - I went t' Cinema on Friday gone and watched The Number 23, and then Ghost Rider.

I really enjoyed both of them... Ghost Rider being very slow for the first 45 minutes, but still entertaining... and in true comic ---> movie tradition... Very cheesy.... but a good film.

The Number 23, despite all the bad press, raves and reviews is perhaps the best film I have watched this century.

The last movie I saw was Stranger Than Fiction with Will Ferrell. It was cute and I was a huge fan of Maggie Gyllenhaal in that movie. I definitely recommend it for a couple of laughs and a good overall plot.

Going to see '300' tonight. I shall let everyone know how good it is (I've heard nothing but good reviews).

Edit: 300 was great. Strong story great action, surprisingly only 2 hours long. The overall look and feel of the movie was amazing. Be weary, however, of those saying things like "greatest movie ever" & "my favorite in a long time". It was good but don't overshoot your expectations...

Watched "Accepted" a few weeks ago. Cool idea for a movie, and sort of relate-able because I'm in my first year of college. Though I was never rejected. Still, good movie and funny.

I went through the pages looking for insight into several movies I'd like to see and one person had seen the The Good Shepherd, a drama about espionage and the beginnings of world's largest and most powerful criminal organization, the CIA. The guy was bored, not enough action. ...lol... Flick features an all-star cast.

Someone else briefly mentioned Blood Diamonds, again featuring interesting subject matter, this time about the illicit diamond trade in West & Central Africa I believe. Whether the movie ties Liberia's former strongman Charles Taylor, or any his handlers (CIA) to the exploitation and bloodshed, I do not know. Two other interesting connections to Taylor were Pat Robertson & Jesse Jackson.

Further, the movie most assuredly wouldn't dare delve into the fact that both terrorist organizations & multi-national corporations alike profit handsomely or that Israel, which has no such natural resources itself, yet, precious stones from Africa are their 2nd leading export. The vast majority of which, end up in the US...lol... But if it gets people thinking and understanding that they have to do the research themselves to know the facts about world around them then such movies are a start.

Another movie I just haven't had time to go see (although none of these even played in our town), is Forest Whitaker's portrayal of Ugandan dictator Idi Amin in The Last King of Scotland. Amin, a tool of the British Empire, was a ruthless thug.

I can recommend Al Gore's Inconvenient Truth, which is the last movie I've gone and seen.

The song haunts me.., 14 March 2007
8/10
Author: andymazlan from Kuala Lumpur

Overall the film is OK. I think it's better than Sepet and much better than Gubra in term of its story, its sentimental value.

There are a few scenes that makes me touched. Yes I agree that the boy (Mukhsin) did his acting very good. Brilliant. I can say that his acting is almost natural.

However, the song 'Ne Me Quitte Pas' by Nina Simone really spooks me.

Mr Beans Vacation and Blood Diamond.

Mr Beans Vacation I will give 7.5/10. Very funny, but typical Bean stuff, you could see what was going to happen, but it still made you laugh.

Blood Diamond I give a 9/10. Loved the movie. Good level of action (could be more diverse). Good story and it really opens your eyes.

I do believe the last movie I saw was called the Covenant but I'm not sure if that was the last one or if it was Final Destination 3 that we watched last. We try to get movies at least once a week to watch but sometimes I get them out of order when asked what we watched last... Embarassed

But still a good time pass.

The last movie I saw (today), was the Da Vinchi Code. For 10 minutes I was wondering who Sir Leigh Teabing was, then I was convinced it was Peter O'Toole. Of course it was Ian McKellen from LOTR and X-men. Wow, they look just the same!

Good movie by the way! No I haven't read the book.

watched Pan's Labyrinth the other day..

I love the movie. Very tragic, but beautiful movie.

I've watched "Pan's" also.

The most incredible thing on this film is about violence: I (my pov) is that the changes to fantasy sequence from the real world sequence are far much more violent than the real world sequences.

I don't know if I was clear about that, but the thing is violence is not only related to blood or to ignorance, but to brusque changes. (my opinion, of course)

... well, it's a good film to watch and to reflect about violence, not only about a war or a little girl. Wink

The last movie I saw was 'Diarios de Motocicleta.' This is an amazing movie. It stars Gael Garcia Bernal playing Ernesto Guevara, and is based on the true story of Guevara and his friend. It's about two friends who travel across South America, and how their trip changed their lives. The movie has incredible shots of places, and most of the scenes were shot at the spot. One of my favorite movies. Also the music in the movie is very good.

At the movies, Shrek 3 was the last I saw.

The original is a bit old now and the second was pushing it, but that didn't seem to stop them from wheeling out a third, along with all the product placement (KMart, McDonalds, even the Nine Network had a 'Shrek Weekend') that comes with it.

It was alright for kids although as far as actual entertainment goes, I wouldn't bother. I wouldn't pay to see it at the movies, if there was nothing else on then I might think about it.

You know you'll see it eventually (TV, on a plane, whatever) so just wait until then!

I just saw Shrek 3 on the movies. I kind of liked it but this one was far more childish than the previous ones. It lacks that neutral sense of humor than the first and (especially) the second part had.

Nevertheless, the graphics were awesome. It's unbelieable the level that these movies had adquired, to the point that I feel that I 2D movies should start to fade away.

I just hope they don't continue with the saga and invest more time doing a script that is worth the quality of the images.

I watched 2 films in one night.

FRacture (Anthony Hopkins/Ryan Gosling) and Premonition (Sandra Bullock/Julian McMahon)

Fracture was a great film, if you ignore the OBVIOUS plot holes, making the film entertaining ... but nothing more. A nice "villain" role for A.H, and Gosling as superb as an ego-manic lawyer. Probably WONT be watching this again though. 7/10

Premonition was poor. No, it was VERY poor. It wasn't too hard to follow, but it was so boring...and the ending was one I expected from the start. Will NOT be watching this again. Sandra's worst film (though good performance) this century. 3/10

Next film I will be watching is The Reaping with Hillary Swank. Woo.

It is too interesting, nice and exciting to me, I spent almost 2 days to finish off the trilogy for LOTR...
I guess maybe Frodo would like to widen his knowledge, travel around the world and learn from Gandalf Cool

I think Frodo needed to leave, to get his peace of mind. He had been through more than any ordernary hobbit had ever been. And it had damaged him, his lifequality and future.
Actually, I think it's pretty nice that the book and movie end the way they do. They are traveling to the West, to land of the Elves. I always picture Frodo dying the garden of Lórien, after Sam has joined them. What a nice place to end your days... Smile

I watched Rush Hour 3. It was...decent I suppose. It had too much sexuality in it, imo. And it wasn't as nicely done as the first 2, so I might or might not rent it when it comes out on DVD. Anyway, I'd give it a 6.5/10 cause it just didn't live up to my expectations, and it isn't as good as the first 2. I recommend it if you want to see Jackie and Chris again, but otherwise, I wouldn't.

300. It was a good mix of war, courage, love, and betrayal all mixed in one. It was amazing how they built the wall of dead humans to protect themselves from their enemies. The fight scenes were incredibly well put together. I would see it again and again. It is a great movie. Cool

I watched Captivity yesterday. It was a lame movie and a very predictable story / plot. Similar to "Saw" but Saw is so much better.

I also watched Die Hard 2 and Too Fast Too Furious again. Can never get bored with these movies. I can't wait to watch Die Hard 4 (Live Free or Die Hard), although I got to watch just the start of the DVD. I stopped watching since the quality of the DVD copy was very bad.

Hi there,

Just re-watched Salvage and think it gets better with every viewing. For those of you who haven't seen it, go out and rent it or buy it if you are a fan of low budget horror films. The film is great, great story, good acting and with enough twists and a shocking ending. The commentary is very good and the Crook brothers go into detail about how they made the film. The only complaints I have is that they should have had some of the actors talk on the commentary and during the commentary the brothers try to talk over the movie itself at full volume instead of reducing the volume so we can hear everything they have to say. It would have been nice if they also put the screenplay on the DVD so those of us who wanted to read it could.

I just rented "I now pronounce you Chuck and Larry" on DVD and was very surprised that I liked it. Entertainment Weekly film critics gave the film an "F". Where do they get these film critics from? Do they even like films? I'm not a big fan of Adam Sadler, but I thought he did a very good job in this film. I don't know what gay people thought of the film, but while the film makes fun of them, the film also make fun of everyone else and in the end shows that gay people are just like everyone else. Adam Sadler is also a big enough person to have a running gag in the film aimed at his character, so my respect for him went up a notch. The other leading man, I don't remember his name but he's the same guy in Hitch that Will Smith helps, does a terrific job. Jessica Biel is gorgeous in the film and I was surprised by how much she showed and the jokes she's the butt of. So, overall, if you're bored you might want to give the film a try, I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.

I just watch the new Tyler Perry movie, "Why did I get married?". I really like this movie. I wasn't sure what to expect going into it. and since it had a very short run at most theaters in my area, I was a little skeptical. It was very entertaining. I thought it did a good job at making a serious drama about marriage and relationships funny. I thought that it would just be a really preachy chick flick, but it wasn't that at all.

The downside? The same downside as most movies nowadays... the ending. Pretty weak to be fair. Shame though. 7/10 overall.

die hard 4 was pretty good.

It had a couple of things going against it. Fristly its got a suffix of 4 - this is usually a bad sign, and secondly, bruce must ned a zimmer frame to run around in by now (the times called it diet hard ...!)

however despite that excellent movie - the hacking stuff is actually mildly believable (at least by hollywood standards of computer tech) and quite gripping. Bruce is excel as usual despite the age.

I watched I Am Legend the other day. The movie was great and the story was getting good and interesting until the ending. The whole movie except the ending was awesome. The ending could be done better in my opinion. I also don't understand why the colony didn't try to contact him through radio on the AM frequency like he did. Maybe because they fear that the zombies might come find them? Anyways, I didn't like the ending but the movie is worth watching.

The last movie I saw was The Brave One. Jodie Foster played a great role as a very strong woman in this film. It started out as a nice romantic film, then turned into something completly different. Jodie foster, after losing her fiance in a beating, went from a very lovely person, into a cold blooded woman. She had so much anger in her I thought what is going to happen to this woman if someone doesnt arrest her. Although she was killing the bad guys, it became like a thing with her. It seemed like during the day she would do her job as a radio host, then go out and start looking for bad people to kill. It seemed like that was what calmed her down. However this movie potrayed her as being strong with a gun. What if she didnt have the gun with her all the time? Would she have been just as brave? I thought that what made her so courageous was the fact that she had the gun with her at all times in case she came across another bad incident. I would definetly recommend this movie to everyone who enjoys movies that has a little of a dark side. I personally thought it was a great film, I loved Jodie Foster in Silence of the Lambs, and I definetly think she played her part really good.

Diving Bell and the Butterfly.

I thought the movie was pretty amazing. The film techniques were just experimental enough to take notice, but not too over the top to where you don't notice the nuances of the plot.

The only real critique I have of the movie was the ending. It wasn't uplifting, it wasn't hard hitting, it wasn't sad, it wasn't happy. It just kind of... was.

No Country For Old Men.

I retrospect it was quite good in terms of the acting. Tommy Lee Jones was fantastic. The dialogue was written well.

But it was long and depressing and had no apparent conclusion.

Yes I would've known that if I'd read the book first. No, that does not strip me of my right to criticize the film.

Yes, I get that it's supposed to be a thinking movie/novel. Yes, I can appreciate thinking movies. But you have to be in the right state of mind for them, and when commercials paint the movie as a shoot 'em up (like they did Hart's War) and you don't know what you're getting yourself into...disaster ensues Laughing

I'm interested in reading the book now.

Darkplace

This is a story about a father who locks his 10 year old boy in a "shadowbox." An ancient box meant to spiritually cleanse your evil sins or something like that ... This movie is almost unwatchable really, just an terribly incoherent plot with some really bad acting. I almost turned it off after the first 30 minutes, but I gave it a chance, hoping it would get better, but it just never did. The director tried cramming every director "gimmick" for lack of a better term he's ever seen from other movies into this one. When you rely so heavily on flashbacks/cutscenes to tell your story, it's usually a bad sign. For a supposed horror movie, there wasn't really anything scary about it, hardly any deaths/killings, just a bunch of dull dialogs and semi-creepy images. The only redeeming quality from this movie is it that it features Matthew McGrory (big guy from devil's rejects/house of 1000 corpses)in his last film before he died. Also the ending had an interesting little twist, but by then I didn't care, I just wanted it to be over already. Avoid this pile at all cost.

The last movie I watched was Micheal Clayton. Some of my American friends told me that it was an amazing movie and I should not miss it, plus the fact that it received numerous oscar nominations, I decided to catch this one.

What a mistake! The story was going no where or rather I could not understand it. George Clooney is an amazing guy but I was just waiting for the story to lift off but all I could see was some absolute nonsense.

So when the break came, I was fast asleep and decided not to waste any more time on it. Even though the tickets were expensive, I decided that my peace of mind was more important and left the movie mid-way. Wise decision!

The last movie I saw was "No country for old men", I thought it was alright, but I really don't think it desierved the acclaim that it recieved. The only good parts were some of the character and some the dialogue. What really turned me off the movie was the ending, weak, it was like they ran out of time or ideas and just threw it together. I just watched "18 Again!" from the 80s. I thought I had seen it before, and just wanted to see it again. But it appeared that I hadn't. About time then! Next, I'm going to see "17 again", a newer movie. I love movies where people magically switch bodies! Especially 80s comedies!

I saw the film Atonement starring Keira Knightley, James McAvoy and Saoirse Ronan. I wanted to see it badly and finally did two nights ago. It's so beautiful. The last movie I saw was Prom Night, starring Brittany Snow. It was a spur-of-the-moment decision as something to do when my boyfriend and I met up with an old friend and his fiance.
I don't think it's done particularly well in the box office because we went to check it out during it's second or third day of release and the entire theatre was devoid of patrons.

Granted, it was a weekday, but still!
I didn't think it was that bad of a movie, really, but had I written the script (which is saying something because I did some small screen hi-def work during vocational school) I would've clarified a LOT more in the end and inserted some tricky twists and turns to make it a bit more "saiting" to the audience.

I had wanted badly to see the Attonement, but my ma and I never got around to it. I'm waiting on Iron Man though my boyfriend wanted us to go the first darn day.

It was good, but if you have very very very great expectations, you would keep expecting more. Brilliant suit and brillaint making of the suit.

I especially like the parts where the initial testing of the suit causes so much problems. He gets burn marks on his expensive cars. Hits his head on the ceiling, falls a long way down due to ice problem, just wonderful how even a superhero (if we could call him that) has problem getting his gadget to work.

But remember, once the suit really gets going, it does not crash even 1 billionth of a fraction of how often Windows crashes. Rolling Eyes

Last movie that I saw was Iron Man...

It is really a cool movie, the robotic thing. He was just so intelligent, is there really someone like him who can make something like that and use it for good? I don't think so coz even NASA wasn't able to invent something like that. I guess the most updated robot in the world is ASIMO from HONDA.
lastelement0
the last movie was more of a "mini-series" than a movie. the andromeda strain. it was on tv over the weekend. I still classify it as a movie because I think thats where they were going with it just the director couldn't really cut enough out of it to have it fit in two hours so they made it a mini series. it's essentially another resident evil/dawn of the dead type movie where an infection is ruining the country and a group of scientists need to find a way to stop it.

its based on the book written by michael chricton and i found it very interesting. how they ended up piecing everything together was very interesting and at times a little out there. overall i enjoyed it.

Telugu is a language spoken in Andhra Pradesh in India.

Nice movie, though you may need subtitles to understand it.

Like all Indian movies it has its share of songs - the hero and heroine (It's an Indian movie, it has a hero and heroine by default) start dancing spontaneously.

It's basically about college life in an Engineering college in India. Worth a watch.

I actually just saw Kung Fu Panda, since I am a staunch Jack Black fan!

From the moment Jack's narration came on, my friends and I were at least stifling chuckles, if not cracking up entirely, so that there should be a reassurence to any Jack Black fans who were worried. It's basically "Jack Black the Panda Bear". Not much of a stretch in acting, but honestly, did anyone really want him to?

I always have this problem of expecting more mature plots from children's movies, so that was really my one gripe about the film. It's formulaic and predictable. But then again, its a kids movie! Razz

Other than that I thought it was great. The beginning and end credits sequences had 2-D animation which was so GORGEOUS I wish they'd done the movie like that. But alas, such is teh way of the world. 3-D animation is easier nowadays and less time and money consuming.

RIP Classic animation

I liked it. Smile If you're into those ridiculous Adam Sandler slapstick comedies, then by all means head out to this one. It's one of his best.

It's kind of exciting because it's been quite a while since there's been so many movies that are in theaters that i actually want to see. Currently: Indy, Zohan, Kung Fu, Iron Man, Narnia... and soon: The Incredible Hulk.

The Last Movie I Saw was Kung Fu Panda. It's the story about a lazy, irreverent slacker panda, named Po, who is the biggest fan of Kung Fu around. Unexpectedly chosen to fulfil an ancient prophecy, Po's dreams become reality when he joins the world of Kung Fu and studies alongside his idols, the legendary Furious Five - Tigress, Crane, Mantis, Viper and Monkey under the
leadership of their guru, Master Shifu. But before they know it, the vengeful and treacherous snow leopard Tai Lung is headed their way, and it's up to Po to defend everyone from the oncoming threat. I really reccomend this film and you should definately go to see it if you havn't considered it already. I would probably give it something like 4 stars/5 ****

Well, the last film I saw was "The Bucket List" with Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman. The film is about two men, millionaire Edward Cole and car mechanic Carter Chambers, who are suffering from cancer. Laying in the same room at hospital, they decide to set off on a trip of their lives and seize the day as much as they can. Every adventure is another bullet point on "The Bucket List" which they had made at the hospital. While travelling all over the world, they gradually become friends and accept their conditions.

The gunfighting sequences are awesome. But there is a lot of unwanted violence in the movie, especially the "training" the dude Wesley. Maybe some proper training exercises in shooting would have been nice

I really wanted to see some bullet bending or sharpshooting action

"what are you here for ?" doesn't quite seem like a good question to get bashed up for.

The sequence of Fox(Jolie) car picking up Wesley was awesome Exclamation

The entire car chase sequences were awesome. Only the violence and the unnecessary killing (everyone dies in the end)

I saw "Munna" a Telugu movie.

Telugu is an Indian language spoken in Andhra Pradesh (India has a lot of languages) and I don't know Telugu, but the DvD I watched had subtitles.

The cinematography was excellent and the storyline was pretty good.

Some of the action sequences were too much - people who have watched Tamil or Telugu action movies might know what I mean.

It starts with a boy whose dad is a really bad guy who finally sells his wife. The boy runs away. And later, when the Dad becomes a really bad and powerful villain (who owns a ...wait for it ... pharmaceutical company). The boy returns to beat his Dad. Its not as simple as I make it sound - the storyline is quite good.

Like all Indian movies, it has a good number of unnecessary songs with the hero and heroine dancing, a love story or two. repentant sons and brothers and what not.

And the Telugu language is quite cute Laughing

A beautiful movie about a sweet guy named Lars who feels really uncomfortable when people touch him or try to give him any sort of company. Could have been because he lost his mother when he was born, his father was heartbroken and a loner after that And also his elder brother left him alone with their heartbroken father.

Anyway, Lars ends up living in the garage in his brother's(the brother is married) house and just doesn't socialise. But he's really very sweet

There is this girl in his office who really likes him, but he just runs away when he sees her.

Finally, or actually this s where the fun begins, he orders a life size female doll from a website Real Girls. It is an anatomically correct mannequin and Lars treats it like a real girl, falls in love and proposes to her. But ... she rejects. Later she dies Embarassed And then Lars falls in love with girl in his office.

i watched "21"

it a movie about card counting. For those who don't know what it is, it is a mathematical method to win at Backjack which is a gambling game at casinos.

So, this bunch of MIT students guided by an MIT professor head out to Las Vegas and use mathematics to win money at BlackJack. Even though its not illegal, the bouncers at these places will beat u up and throw u out if they find out u are card counting. So, they have to be very secretive and stuff.

Finally, the professor dumps them, steals the protagonist's money, MIT grades and Harvard "Medical" School aspirations. In the end the 21 year old (no, that's not the only reason the movie is called 21) fools the professor into a trap.

The movie might be called 21 because in BlackJack, you have to addd up the card values(or something) to 21 and not overshoot or undershoot.

Can be watched once but not more. In fact, watch the episode in Numb3rs about Card counting - that's nice.

The last movie I saw was Semi-Pro. It's a fine movie but I really don't know what hit me when I saw the scene where he (Will Ferrell) keeps on preventing his teammates from scoring in order not to give free corn dogs to the fans.

His promotion was if his team, the Tropics will score 125 then they will give away free corn dogs. In the last 30 seconds of the game, the Tropics' score was 124 and they have possession. So, every time his teammates tried to score he's doing his best to prevent it from happening (Or else free corn dogs to the fans which actually they don't have any corn dogs to give away). In the end of the game the Tropics scored 126.

I was laughing so hard i shed a lot of tears laughing. The strange thing is, when I watched again the movie last night, I was not laughing on that scene anymore. Pretty weird huh? Maybe they just caught me off guard the first time. I love the first time I saw that movie. It was so funny the first time. I almost died out there.

The last movie i watched was Forgetting Sarah Marshall. It was better than I thought it would be. Although I could do without seeing his winkle about 3 times during the movie. It has funny moments and good uncheesy romance with the usual guys appearing in movies from the same production team from 40 year old virgin and knocked up - Paul Rudd and the fat lad to name but one. Its recommended viewing. Mila Kunis's voice is instantly recognizable by all the family guy fans. Is it really her breasticles in the photo?

I just saw Shrek 3 on the movies. I kind of liked it but this one was far more childish than the previous ones. It lacks that neutral sense of humor than the first and (especially) the second part had.

Nevertheless, the graphics were awesome. It's unbelieable the level that these movies had adquired, to the point that I feel that I 2D movies should start to fade away.

I just hope they don't continue with the saga and invest more time doing a script that is worth the quality of the images.
cavey
I saw Wall E. It was cute, but a liiiiittle bit childish for my taste... Of course, it is meant for children, but those pixar movies usually appeal to the adult crowd too...

Later that night I saw the Dark Knight. A bit "dark" and cruel for my taste. I like a little more charm and humour. But other than that, it was good.
ainieas
I saw Baby Doll today. Its a 1956 movie and apparently one of the most controversial movies of yesteryears. Compared to the times of the times of today I found the movie a bit tame but i can see just how must have been seen when it was released. No wonder all the suggestive sexuality got quite a few feather ruffled. Tennessee Williams' story after all! But it was a good movie. I liked it.

Last movie I went to is Mummy III. disappointed though. not as great as the previous releases and very different from the others. the couple is older with their adult son.

No Direction Home: Bob Dylan, by Martin Scorsese.

Just an incredible documentary of an incredible period. And the second part is mesmerising. I'd say the last fifteen minutes of the film are some of the most moving and well made pieces of documentary ever made.

I also watched Michael Moore's Bowling for Columbine. I think Moore is brilliant, and the film was a real eye-opener, while still being very funny.

The Last Waltz - the best music film of all-time, directed by Martin Scorsese. The music is incredible (The Band are very, very underrated), the lighting and cinematography is revolutionary (Scorsese actually wrote a 300-page shooting script, despite the fact it was a live event), and it has a very 'end-of-an-era' feel to it. X-Man
The last movie i saw was "The Dark Knight".

To say that Christopher Nolan's THE DARK KNIGHT is the best comic book adaptation does the film a bit of a disservice. It may be a Batman film, but this isn't a kid-friendly action movie full of the bams and pows of the original series. This is a pitch-black thriller with enough drama and tragedy to please even William Shakespeare, but it will certainly keep both comics fans and uninitiated audiences equally happy.

THIS CONTAINS A SPOILER

Last night I watched the movie TAKEN

and this is what one quote from it :

(speaking to the people who take his daughter)

Bryan: I don't know who you are. I don't know what you want. If you are looking for ransom, I can tell you I don't have money. But what I do have are a very particular set of skills; skills I have acquired over a very long career. Skills that make me a nightmare for people like you. If you let my daughter go now, that'll be the end of it. I will not look for you, I will not pursue you. But if you don't, I will look for you, I will find you, and I will kill you.

Marko: [after a long pause] Good luck.

The new "The Day The Earth Stood Still" is a remake of an older movie with the same name.

Did any of you see the original old movie of this ?

Of course, the special effects would not be worth comparing but the acting and the storyline and even the cinematography would definitely be worth comparing.

I am currently watching the movie "The Uninvited" So far it seems to be a pretty good movie as far as scary movies go lately. It has some pretty good special effects but the scary moments are easy to see coming. It isnt bad like I said but I feel like Ive seen a lot of scary movies and when I see some they just arent as scary as a lot of people think they are.

I hope that they come out with some really good ones some time soon. I grew up watching all scary movies so I feel like Ive had a little bit of a jump start on them.

chrimson
The last movies i saw were,

You Dont Mess With The Zohan, which is a great comedy send up about the 911 outcome and how the arab community is having issues. Its starts Adam Sandler a counter terrorist becoming a hairdresser and falling in love with his new boss who has a background in the fight between the two countrys. it also has the main villion of Phanton who is one of the funniest villions in the world, which made for a great comedy and what i think was a successful movie.

Twilight, i went into the movie expecting something dark and it turned out to be more a romance story, while this is not normally my thing, i enjoyed the movie a lot and it has me hooked on the up and coming New Moon sequeal which should be great and a bit darker then first so it will be cool.

Both are good movies, if you have not seen them, go rent or buy and enjoy a good movie.

If you saw this movie in 3D, the storyline pretty much takes a back seat to the wonderous things you are seeing on the screen.

The last movie I went to see was Observe & Report. It was pretty funny, but was also rather dark, and a bit weird in some places. Overall still a pretty good movie.

Just went and saw X-Men origins wolverine. They took a lot of liberties with the script but Hugh Jackman was awesome as always. They left the door wide open to do the Origins story of just about any character in the Marvel universe and tried to make it get with the first x-men movie. A fun movie if you are a Marvel fan or a fan of action movies

Finally looked up "Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog" on hulu. Lots of fun. If you enjoy a good musical or are a fan of Neil Patrick Harris or Nathan Fillion you will enjoy this little piece.

Very sad movie. However, it enables to think different about life and assume more positive attitude towards reality. It's a crucial must-see and that is why I recommend it.

Yeah, she was very wholesome in that movie. That Lindsay Lohan starrer was a rehash of a movie that starred the Olsen twins.

Not a Total waste... Some parts were good.

There is no good story and it's not great to watch more than once.

But the cinematography is a new perspective - from the viewpoint of a camcorder, so I found the technique interesting

I recently watched The Reader, and deeply impressed by Kate Winslet's talent and dedication. I think she successfully translated the character's inner feelings and acts into the scenes. No wonder she sweeped all (or almost?) the major awards for the performance. The young male actor (David Kross) was pretty good too. Overall this is a very recommended movie to watch.

Slumdog Millionaire.

Won the Oscars like a slumdog rags to riches story,

But I think there are a lot of other original Indian moveis that were much better. And A R Rahman has done much better than this and stil will do much better than this.

Few days ago I was on Angels & Demons ...

I must say, that the movie was ok ... but the book was really better.

In movie one thread was ommited - CERN director. In book there was moments, when the reader was thinking that he is "bad guy" ...

For someone who was reading the book ... 7/10, for al the rest ... 8.5/10 Smile

Angels and Demons. I didn't read the book and found it quite good. I really do think reading the book will somehow change my perception of the movie, like what happened with me in Watchmen.

It was Natural Born Killers last night in my apartment. I watched it several times, and still seem to like it...
Though cinema-wise it was thursday, when I went to see the new movie 'Anti-Christ' of the Danish director Lars Von Trier. It was a mixed experience. Even though it has taken some beating in the, to say the least, mixed reviews, I don't find it to be that controversial actually. A nice visual side to it, and, granted, some graphic violence + sex, but all in all it's harder on the pure emotional side I think..

I just saw Terminator Salvation for a movie screening at my work. I had never seen the previous ones, so I wasn't sure what to expect. It was overall a good movie, but I found that they didn't really do much. They fought, then destroyed the place and they said it wasn't over...

Oh well, I suppose they're going to make more.

Angels and Demons. it's an okay adaptation. I liked how they recreated the Vatican.

I watched The Uninvited the other day and I really loved it. A Tale of Two Sisters confused the hell out of me. had to watch it twice to understand. a great, but confusing movie. The Uninvited isn't confusing, but a great remake.

well the last movie watched was Monsters vs Aliens, initially was kinda excited and looking forward to watch this movie..thought it was like a team of superheroes with different abilities and strength to save earth, mankind from total annihilation when the aliens invade..or so what I thought Smile but the storyline turns out to be pretty predictable and simple Sad so cliche..aliens?? doesn't really looks impressive enough to take over earth..but overall there some funny bits where u can laugh...like the development of Susan's character the platinum haired giant Smile and yea Bob is sure funny, copy cat everything others were saying, "You must have a name, a monster name...etc" haha laughed out loud that part Smile

Terminator Salvation and Aliens vs Monster. Terminator is much better, the action is not overdone, effect is believable (not too much CGI). The same cannot be said for Aliens vs Monster. Even though the animation is great and beautifully done but the ideas is seem old and tired. It's feel the whole movie is just some sort of recycle bin for all old movies.....

One more thing. It's not your typical horror movie. I don't know why, but the people in the theater were laughing. Some parts are just funny. I'm not sure if the directors were aware of that. It's supposed to be a Horror/Thriller film, slash comedy?! Haha... Laughing

I will defintely watch Wolverine again though some people have given it bad reviews. I think its an excellent X-Men storyline movie. I haven't read the comic book series, and all I knew about Wolverine was from the 3 x-men movies. Now I know the whole story

Yesterday I saw Good Luck Chuck http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0452625/ . I have seen it before. It was just so funny I just had to watch it again when it came on TV. It's a comedy, but with a lot of sex humor and some "extreme" scenes for children. I point that out, because they sent it on TV 1000 Family!!!! (In the evening, but still...) :O It's "Rated R for sequences of strong sexual content including crude dialogue, nudity, language and some drug use."

Dance Subaru! I was thinking what is this movie all about..hesitated to watch as I was guessing the plot would be rather the same like Make It Happen (cool moves) and Step Up 1&2...but wow
it was really a good, inspiring movie about Subaru sharing a dream with her twin brother to become ballet dancers but their passion is discouraged by their father(similar to Billy Elliot).
but somehow something bad happened..it seems like a downhill for Subaru..but she did not want ever to give up her dream..instead she fight on for the sake of her brother Very Happy touching indeed

Star Trek (XI) was also the most recent film I've seen in cinemas. Definitely an enjoyable movie - I especially liked all the little quotes put in for fans of the earlier series (Star Trek: The Original Series, Star Trek: The Next Generation, etc.) and movies.

Other than that, the most recent movie I've seen would be 3 Acts of Murder, broadcast on ABC HD here in Australia recently. Definitely interesting, since I've read one or two of Arthur Upfield's crime books.

I saw 10000 BC recently. I thought the story had a lot of flaws. The most obvious is that iron was used around 1000 BC, not 10000 BC. The story was fantastic and anachronistic. It is about family of course and the possibility of a family of nations. Looked like a One World propaganda to me.

Alright. I recently watched "Drag me to hell".
