i wanna run a site, like an online hip hop magazine.. i need a portal, which has a magazine face like - http://www.rawroots.com

and i dont have any money 2 pay for this, so any help appreciated!

another good CMS is typo3 - it's a lot older than joomla (i think this is positive/not negative - there's still a lot of activity)

they say - there are probably 200.000 websites done with it (wikipedia.de).
there are tons of extensions.

What you want is a blog system or a community based CMS. SiteFrame or Drupal will be right up your alley. Just modify the template to take up multiple columns from different categories, which may seem difficult but it isn't really.
