[RESOLVED] BIOS update - worst case came true

alienjones
I just updated one of my older PCs' BIOS in order to enable CD-ROM-boot. While the eprom got flashed, there was obviously a problem with the power supply. The PC restarted and came up again with blackscreen and long beeps. Nothing else happens, it's just beeping in long terms long.

Did I kill my motherboard? Is there any chance to fix it?

Ehm...hehe....
forgotten to remove the bootdisk from floppy....
repeating long beeps mean "flash successful, reboot!"
