Simple Background

Well, I made a simple background. It's not to distracting to the eye (unless you use the red one) and is still pretty neat. Nothing too spectacular, but thought some of you might be interested. Feel free to use the pictures, a word of credit would be nice.

Size is 1280x1024. 72ppi. Jpg format.

Emphasis on simple, and nothing too spectacular. If it was supposed to jump out and grab the viewer, I would have stated that. But thanks for the reply anyway.

I think they're good, and yes I think the blue one is the best.

But it is hard to see anything in the picture.

there's hardly any contrast.

Its like looking at a monitor running through all of th different coulours it can display. Sad

but don't take what I say too personally, keep on 'reaching for the sky' as somone put it, and tell me how you get on.

they are very simple ... you can a simply design into them again

the degree of the blue color so nice .. you can also make

an interferance by same color degrees ...

you can make alot of things with your mind ....

You don't have to like them. I just like to share. My philosophy on backgrounds is this: if you notice it while doing other things, it's too much. I like to make things that look nice when your desktop is blank, but are also not distracting to the eye so you can focus on the task at hand.

What program do you use to creae them, and how long does it usuall take to make??

Adobe Photoshop 7.0 , Average creation time is 10 mins for ones like froggy, 2 mins for velvet (really easy) planet take me about 15 or 20 mins.

My favorites are Nightmare and Planet! Very Happy I must say, they are pretty good!

They're all so dark... I don't much like these. Sorry. Just not my thing I guess Smile Definitely keep working on them though.

The planet is really cool! I love what you did with the blue and green, and how the entire thing fades into the black background. Nice work!

Hehe, ya. I like the blue more. I guess its just easier on the eyes. Maybe some contrast might make them less "boring"?
