Site maps doesnt help SEO , i think . i never seen it happen at least not in my web site.

It does help search engines to find all of your wepages.
You are right; it does help Google find all your pages; although I don't think Google Sitemaps helps much at all.
I have something like 90 pages in my sitemap and google found one.
