Using MySQL from DirectAdmin

Hello people,

I created a database in my DirectAdmin logon. That part was OK.

Now will you experts tell me:
How do I add fields and data to this database?
What do I do to access this database using php?

Sorry, I know something about 'normal' databases, but when it comes to the web and mysql....

Alright, in the database section of directadmin there is link title phpMyAdmin. That is the easiest way to add the fields you want. Just put in your username and hosting password.

To connect from php you can use the php built in functions here http://us3.php.net/mysql You can ignore the installation part, but it has an example of connecting to and using a database. Hope it helps.
