yeah i just lost my cat been 2 days...ones been out for like 3 and came back..anything over that ide be worried
Ive had a cat missing for a week once. Something to try, walk around the neighborhood and keep an eye on the trees. I had a cat that got stuck in a tree once (paw got mangled by a dog and could climb up but not down). She was gone for 4 days.
BTW- Male of female? A male will usually travel quite a bit further from home than a female. Post the best pic you can all over with the phone number in BIG letters. Make it easy for drivers to see.

my friend had losen her cat for one week, and ultimately she find her outside her house, so you may keep finding it, I am sure your lovely cat will come back to you soon.

Is it a outdoor cat? If not.... It's not good. You can wait as long as you live. If it come back you take care of it. Maby someone have begin to give your cat food and candy. It's not unusual. The cat thinks it's better food there and stay. New food, new home.

I lost my cat for a week once and he eventually turned up much dirtier and skinnier....got trapped in someone's basement/garage or something! If it's gone for a month you can start to worry, if you are in the country. But with the city 2 weeks is a good time to start worrying.

My friend also lost one, I try to help him to find it!
When one of mine go missing I phone all the animal care centers (SPCA, PDSA) that I can find as well as all the veterinary clinics in a 10km radius. I also drive around the neighborhood and look in places an injured animal might take refuge. Hope you find the little guy soon.
