In the past I have tried several free providers to host my personal page of less than 100 MB with php and mysql.
After several months they either vanished or stopped the free service. It all started to be frustrating uploading the files time after time.

For the moment my site is hosted at unssfree but by the end of the year they quit the free hosting, only payed hosting.

Why can't it be free?
And ofcourse it is not my intention to abuse my free webspace !

My webpage is about our genealogical research, with some background info. Nothing about spam, porno or whatever. It's only a hobby for me.

I do hope that I can join the free web hosting project.
Writing interesting mails or answers to start is not an impossible task.

Anyway thank you all administrators for making frihost possible, and let's hope that the free webhosting will last a very long time. Wink

frihost are good. Its easy to get the five quality posts, i started at the beggining of sept and im already an adolescent frihoster Very Happy

but they do have a bit of trouble with uptime.

but otherwise i find no problems, and those few that i do find are fixed by posting to other members or pming bondings.

I think that you will find your self a nice home here. The Admins are friendly and helpful, the service is good, and the community here is great....
