Hey, I was just messing around on the computer and i decided to do a looping statement that would never end so i just quickly made one like this:
Code:

<?php
$number=0;
while($number<=5)
{
echo "The number is less then or equal to 5. The number is $number<br>";
$number--;
}
?>

I thought it would go on forever but at line 780718 it stopped and said:Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 60 seconds exceeded in C:\wamp\www\text.php on line 6. Would this show how fast you internet connection is like if you got more lines it means its faster? Try it and check how many lines you get?

no. that;s wrong.
the time execution can be set using set_time_limit(); function

try set_time_limit(0); <-- for execution until u shut down your computer or you lost your connection Smile

the execution time does not include the time taken while relaying the content from the server to the computer, it only includes the time while php executes and interprets the source. So, more number of lines would actually be stating the relative performance(processing power) of the computer/server php is installed on and would have nothing to do with the internet connection.

anyways.. it was some 657278 lines (with max. execution time 30 seconds) here.
