i just get the crazy talk software. its very nice.with this u can make motion of the lips ,eyes shoulders from an image. even u can make it to speak. it seems that in future we don need a person physically present. their image is more than enoug.....

The one i found is actually a flash based engine where for every letter in the input box a motion and sound are played in order according to the input text. Ill try to find you the link but the last time i saw it it was at flashkit.com

Fireworks and the GIMP are fine with me even though I cringe at the entire prospect of animation through the GIMP.
