PS2 Hard drive not working.

Xeniczone
Just about 30mins ago I bought a Hdd adater (from Sony) to hook up a harddrive to my ps2.

Once I got the hard drive formatted in fat32 I insterted it into the ps2 with the adapter. The hard drive is a 40gig hard drive with a 32gig partition. When I turned my playstation on the Hard drive didn't spin or appear in the browser.

Can anyone with a hard drive or knows what they are doing help?

EDIT: NeverMind Harddrive does Spin, but it still doesn't show up in the browser.

Nvm. It is solved.

I tried to connect to the internet, because sony doesn't support a maxtor hard drive in their sony ps2. So I tried to connect and it didn't work. So I called them and they told me to take it back because it was broken and it was the retailers fault it was broken not sony's.
