System of a down has the most original sound in the music world. In addition to that they sing about a wide variety of things, nonsense to politics. Their music has alot of tempo changes. Many people don't like their music because it is so original it really sound like nothing else out there. What do you thing about them?

I like their uniqueness, one of the things that attracted me to listen to them in the first place. I own all their albums, great band!

Yeah, System fo a Down is great. I really like their stuff, yet MTV made them lose alot of money. When Their Hypnotize album came out, there was a 24 hr free preview on MTV.com. But you see, the songs were downloaded to your computer's temporary folder. People just copied it from there while it was still active, and spread it around the internet. Kind of sad huh?
System of the Down is tight i like almost all their music like chop sue, and toxcity

According to my sources there will not be any more albums. But don't be sad, i am sure their solo projects will be good. I predict a minimum of 5 great songs... btw. my all time favourite is 'Deer Dance', it's just a great song all around

Don't get me wrong, they're a great band. I've been a fan since the debut album. But they're not even close to the most original sound in the music world.
Of System of a Down I only like their first album, just because it's the first metal album I listened 8 years ago... 
Ive loved system of a down since their first cd, "sugar" still my top fave song of all time!

Not gonna happen for a while. The group has gone on an ectended hiatus to further develop their individual tastes/stlye.
Bad news as this spells the end for System. Good news as we'll have 2 new groups fronted by Serg and Daron, looking forward to this as they are both vocally brilliant.

How do you like Hypnotize? I prefer to listen old albums, Hypnotize is full of stupid lyric songs. And old albums as Steal This Album! have many ROCK!!!

I'm a SOAD fan too, for 3 years. My best songs are Lonely day and Mr. Jack. And yes, they are unique.
I liked them way back in high school. Haven't heard much of them lately though.
SOAD still rulez!! i've been listening to them for only 3 years now, but i'm still hooked up! They surely have a very original sound, and their lyrics are quite thought provoking (though as always, they can be interpreted in many ways). I just hope they are back quickly from their hiatus
Yes, one of my friends said that System of a Down are like Eminem, only in rock culture - their lyrics are so similar.
i know this is just my opinion but i think they are in the top 10 of best bands in history i just love system of a down
I used to think they were gay but since i started playing i my band, mouldylocks, my drummer really got me into them. Tay have some good songs and I like their armeian style beards!!!

I think they are very good but some songs have a bit strange names, at least if you havnt heard anything of them and then you see the the name "violent pornography" you think they are some perverts or something but if you listened to some of the music they make they turn out alright.

Maybe you're slightly exeggerating, but yeah, they are indeed good. What I really like in them is the tempo changes you mention there.
My favourite album is maybe the self titled one. Spiders, Darts, Soil, War - great songs!
System of a Down is the best band in the world. It has great music that anyone can like. I especially like BYOB that is their best song, well actually all of their songs are good.
Yeah, S.O.A.D. has many different types of tempo, thats what makes them different. Also most metal bands sing about girls and how they hate their lives, and i mean thats cool and all but time change. I currently own all their CD's except for Mezmerize. If I were to recommend one of their CD's to anybody that would be System Of A Down (and that's what the album is literally called). Since it sounds original, different beats and tempos. And over some of the best music I have ever heard.
System of a down is againts Turks. So we dont like them..
