I always wated to buy a binay clock. Here is a deck top version for free.

How to read?
You count in binary 1,2,4,8

So if the Leds read:

- 8
* 4
- 2
- 1 So this would be an 4

* 8
- 4
* 2
- 1 This would be 10 (8+2)

try it, it is fun!
