How'd you modify the engine and the actually important parts? Or did you just make it look like a nice car?

The one thing I really dislike is cars made to look like street racers, but that are still puttering around on stock four-bangers with a megalaphone instead of a muffler so that it sounds like it has some real power to it.

What's your 0 to 60 time compared to the stock specifications?

I know what you mean about wannabe street racers. However this car, it being fully modded. It has just started to be modded under the hood. If money was no object it would be finnished by now.

These are some modifications that have been made to improve performance.

Race X Induction Filter Turbo Design
This was the first thing i fitted, doesnt do much. But it still helps a little bit.

Ecotek Valve and Filter
designed to improve the combustion process.
The Ecotec CB-26P is a compact device that uses 'swirl technology' to optimise the FUEL CONSUMPTION, PERFORMANCE and EMISSIONS.

Ripspeed Blue Intake Kit
Complete airbox replacement intake kit. This was the last thing i fitted on the car.

and for the look under the hood, some of the plastic casing has been changed to a chrome looking plastic shell and the hosing has been changed to a blue colour.

so as you can see the car is being modded. Its just time and money that is why it happens at a slow process.

I heard racing stripes add like 50+HP to a car. So since you have 1 racing stripe, does that mean 25HP?

i dont like it, sorry mate, but i just think it looks tacky and overly-original.

I'm from the UK aswell, and we definetly dont have the same 'tuning' scene as other countries (for loads of reasons), so i guess we've got an excuse on the performance front, but styling-wise, its just another astra.

Next thing i'd do is lower it alot, colour code it, irmscher grille, lose the ASTRA vinyl, and stripe...

but thats just me
