150 $FRIH T VALIDATE my page

Hi guys, if anyone here could validate my page, i would really appreciate it. I'm currently offering 150 $frih for validating my page right now. My site is www.sportschatter.frih.net Heres the link for the errors on my site. I have 34 errors to fix, If you can't get them all, ill pay you 3 $frih per error you fix. Please let me know how many you fix, i guess you could just post the errors and how you fix them. And i will pay for each one that is correct.

Hi,

I've removed all the errors from your file and you can find it here http://ninjakannon.frih.net/temp/sportsnightcap.html. Unfortunatly the bottom thinggy "Mets clinch the NL East division title" has overlapped the previous one. But I'm sure you can sort that out pretty quickly.

Note that when you check the file for errors, there are none, however it says the following:
1) "Namespace Found in non-XML Document"
2) "Byte-Order Mark found in UTF-8 File"

I kept the namespace bit because I don't know what type of page you used, also as mine is .HTML and so the xml rules don't apply here, just remove the stuff related to xml to clear this. The byte-order thing is again because of the type of file that I've used.

3) It also says: "This page is not Valid (no Doctype found)!"

It is there, but not formated correctly, I just put it onto one line and actually it is detected because if you remove it and revalidate then you get more errors.

I've corrected the errors you had and once you sort out the last blog entry thing then it should be fine.

All the errors were fixed, although the overlapping problem that ninjakannon stated was due to a typo, aligh to be exact. I believe in attempt to fix it, it was changed to align (which I also had done), and it caused the overlapping.

I tested the valid version against your current pne and it appears to render properly in Opera, with the occasional exception of ads not loading.

I'm not sure if you noticed NjRocket, or if that was something we skipped, or whichever, but on line 52 about a missing alt tag and the end tag for 'img' being omitted, although that should be easy to fix. Just change line 52 from:
<img border="0" src="http://www.sportschatter.frih.net/image/banner1.gif"></center>
to:
<img border="0" src="http://www.sportschatter.frih.net/image/banner1.gif" alt="-" /></center>

You could actually change the hyphen to whatever you wanted, but I just noticed that all the others were alt="-" so I figured I'd just follow the stream. Wink
