What's the most amount of money that you found just laying on the ground?
One time I found a hundred dollar bill at a parking lot, getting blown around by the wind. I also saw one on the floor of a casino just sitting there. While paying for gas, I found 60 bucks on the ground. While at the grocery I found 20 bucks. One time I saw a 20 dollar bill fly out of a car that was turning left very fast. Seemed like the driver was oblivious to it as he just kept driving away.
But the biggest one I ever saw were three 100 chips that I found on a casino floor. There wasn't even anyone there.

Oh not really, only about £20 outside our house randomly on the pavement. That was best thing I've ever found 
I found a peny laying in the parking lot one time. When I was little I found a $2 Dollar bill on the ground near a store, and guess what was the first thing I did. I didn't know $2 Dollar bills were hard to find but I would still proberly go and spend it. But the most I ever found was like 50 Dollar bill in this train I was on, I guess someone just took out there wallet or purse and it just dropped out. But that was the luckiest day of my life becuase I was broke and was just waiting for the end of the week for that check.
I found a tenner just laying there in a garage once and my friend found a fiver rolled up in a tenner!This is a major subliminal message. Please email me if you find it as I think it is really cool. I have never found any money - but I've found tons of pencils. 
I found an African 1cent coin in a car at the wreckers I was getting parts out of (I live in Australia)
I kept it until some guy decided to take drugs and flog all the shiny coins out of my special coin jar 
. When I was working in England, I found a £20 note under a table I was cleaning once (waitressing). Nothing more exciting than that, but it's a small consolation that £20 is worth than $20 
. I once found £20 when out buying beers, which got me LOTS of extra beer!

abt me, never found any money lying anywhere. All that i once got was about Rs. 2 or something like that The most Ive ever found and this is realy realy rare in england but i found a £50 note outside of a tesco and i went and spent it on a game lol. once i found £20 out side of the bank aswell but i reternd it lol

it sounds like you have a ‘gift’ or something for finding money, good on you. The most I’ve picked up was a twenty rand note. This was long ago when the rand was worth about seventy American cents. Today South African currency is so worthless you’ll find coins up to twenty cents lying everywhere. It’s worth so little nobody bothers picking them up. Something no-one here has realized is that the copper in a five cent coin is worth a lot more than five sents. Yea I am an avid money finder myself. I have found 2 $20's and a $10 wrapped up in my school cafetaria. I have found a $20 outside of a gas station. A $1 blowing across the road. $40 just randomly in the middle of a grassy field.
My brother and me found RM 50. I found RM 10 a coupld of time. Just lying on the ground.
Rm 3.8 = USD 1.0.
My brother found a PDA at an airshow once, that was cool. We tried to contact the person who owned it but they never ever replied?!? It's still sitting in a box somewhere, it wasn't a very good one but would a couple of hundred at least.
I also found a wallet at a fair, it had ~$300 AUD in it, no ID in there nothing. I gave it to the security people and I never heard another word about it, guess where the money is? Oh I wonder, security?
Finding cash is awesome though, somebody has lost it but hey I've dropped a dollar (we have coins for one dollar) before and nobody gave mine back! But largely I think I've found more than I've lost.
I'm usually pretty good at finding money on the ground. I look down all the time (maybe I have bad posture, I dunno, but I just naturally look down while I'm walking). Once I found $20 on the floor in school, and used it to pay back my friend who I owed. Unfortunately, he had forgotten that I owed him any money, so I could've just kept it in the first place. Why am I such a nice person? 
Anyway, I think I've found two other twenties at times, and some fives and singles. Once I found a ring, it's sitting in my room right now, but it looks kinda cheap and probably isn't worth much.
Oh, and I've been curious about this for a while: Do computers in England have that £ sign on the keyboard above the 4 where the $ would be? I figure it would make sense, but I just wanna be sure. I've found money from time to time just laying on the ground.
I dont often find stray cash, I've found my fair share of wallets. I found one with over 2000$ CAD one time. I ended up finding the guys Phone number and giving it back.
He gave me 500$. He said I' earned it. He told me that even he would have pocketed the cash before giving the wallet back. Once found a Loonie on the floor. Never any bills. I would not keep the money, unless there were people nearby whom it may belong to.

Most i ever found was 10 but i have found lots in the halls of school. Also my sister found 500 bucks before.
I found a $20 bill once. Then one time at school I found $13. Not much of a find. Not so lucky.

When I was walking around the store a few years ago, I saw this what looked to be a $50.00 bill, I went back to go to check out with things and picked it up all excited about it then I go and look on the back and it had a advertisement on the back and itwasnt even printed on real paper money and wasnt even a real image of a bill One day I was walking home from school and I saw a paper bag sitting at the bottom of a gorge. The gorge wasn't big and I was quite curious so I climbed down to the bag. The had 650 dollars in it in 50's. I almost pissed myself but I managed to keep calm enough to climb back up the side of the gorge onto the road. Well when I got to the top, a man in a leather coat an sun glasses approached me without saying anything. His approach freaked me out so I sort of yelled at him "What do you want?" He said "You have my bag, I dropped it in the gorge." The man kept getting closer to me and I knew he was going to try to grab the money no matter what I did or said, which made me curious as to what the money was for. I quickly ran to the edge of the gorge and slid down the wall towards the water. The man started climbing down after me and I just booked it down the gorge to some backwoods and hiked to my house. The nest day I went on a shopping spree and bought a bunch of new clothes. Then I bought an ounce of some dank marijuana and flipped it for about 50% profit. I've been building an empire ever since and I am now a millionaire.

You're a funny one lol. But I found a suitcase of cash once, but it was baited with a bomb and it blew up in my face when I was unloading it, now I have half a head.I found $10 on the stairs in building I lived in when I was very young. hehe, I'm not lucky enough to find a case of cash~
Um, I seriously can't recall any time that I found money on the ground... as in, money to mention. I might have found a few coins, but no bills. Shame though, I gotta keep looking Psh.
All I've ever found are a few pound coins. Usually I found some coins on street, but I've already found a 50 reais (our money in Brazil) bill. It worth something about 20 american dollars. The interesting about it is that I've lost the bill whitout spending it! ¬¬
Once, when I was flat broke (like HUNGRY broke) i found $10 on the street. The cool thing is, when I went to the school cafeteria and used it to buy a muffin, the cashier gave me change for a $20... and refused to correct her mistake! Now that's a lucky day!
I've found a few $5 bills but nothing major. Mostly change, but I'll pick it up. It all adds up, LOL. I did find a lotto ticket one time that hadn't been claimed, that was $25. So now I look like some weirdo walking around looking at lottery tickets laying on the ground
I once found several (4 or 5) $2 notes in a small roll, and it was nice because i didn't have much on me at that time. Another time, in a store full of people,I paid with a $50 note, and the woman gave me the change and mistook a 10 for a 50, so I got like 75$ back. I noticed it immediately, and gave it back. The woman was very thankful, probably the boss would have taken that out of her salary. I felt fine after that, but now I don't think I'd do it again. not because I need the money, but because I think everyone gets what they deserves. If I were in her position and lost money, I don't think anyone would give it back to me, nor I expect them to.
I found a $10 at the bottom of a pool once. Had to dive down to get it. It was at a hotel in South Carolina, and I was in for an early morning swim. Good times.

<newlife~T>Sounds like you're pretty lucky. The most I had ever found was a $10 bill lying at the base of a row of bushes, along the sidewalk. I don't remember what I did with it--thinking about the topic now, if I ever find that amount or larger, I'm going to try and do something memorable with it.
If fortune led me to finding it, perhaps then it was meant as a sign or an opening to do something potentially transformative with it.
Anyway, the real reason I was motivated to respond was to ask whatever happened to the money found at the casinos? My work is connected with the gambling industry, and I've read that casinos, at least the ones with high security, won't allow people to even take a nickel that's been left on a machine.I think I found a quarter once. Chances are that I probably dropped it there a couple of seconds before that too.
Other than that, I found a dime once.
I've lost more money than I've ever found.
Funny how they call them "pounds" elsewhere. I guess I'm just not used to it.
The one time I did find a wallet, it had a good $200 in it, just laying under a tire in the parking lot of a grocery store. At the time, I was just a kid and did not know about things like greed and such. So honest me went and turned it into the store clerk, who after making sure I was not looking, pocketed the money. I never thought twice about it, but now that I'm older, I realized I could've done the same thing.
You guys are so lucky finding a money on every where. I hope i have a chance to have a free money. As far as i know, i've only go a half of a dollar. hehehe. that's so cheap. hehehe
