I used to have a few Parakeets a couple of years ago but I got really busy with 2 jobs and couldn't give them the attention that I believe that they deserve. They were very sociable and loved attention and human contact.
I had four: GreenBean, LadyBlue, Ivory, and Jerry. They kept me company and were quite enjoyable.
I was thinking now that I am not nearly as busy as I used to be... I was thinking maybe about a Cockatiel as they are pretty smart, can learn to talk and really aren't as big of an investment as a larger bird in the parrot family.
I'm still undecided though.
