ages ago ive tryed getting linux onto my usb stick, i got far but like, i got stuck when trying to make the usb stick bootable, there was only 2 programs that was avalible to make it bootable, 1 requires a floppy disk, making it bootable, then getting the boot files off it, the 2nd said that it wont work for usb sticks 256mb or over, mines 256
, i just wonder'd if any1 else has had a go, and had any lucky? if so, mind helping me getting it working, i tryed it a few months ago, i got all the stuff backed up, but now i carnt remember much xD

hey hey, sorry to bump an old topic.
i have been trying to do it with a linux that it for usb, but i stoped after i tested it which required a boot cd to look for the usb, and then afterwards, after i read that it wasnt suppose to touch the hard drives of the pc, as it dosnt require them. i restarted, and had a few problems booting up. so i have given up on it since.
