Actually, the post is rather about politics then philosophy, but then again, behind
politics stands philosophy, so I choosed to post it here, even if the subject isn't as
'profound' as I usually likes it to be discussing philosophy.
Well, here in Sweden electionday's coming up Sunday. Lot's of preparations everywhere,
and a huge amount of likelly and unlikelly commercials. I actually even got a letter from
the chairman in one of the parties. 'Handwritten' adress and all, thus I've forbidden
the state-register to apply my adress for any kind of personal-pointed commercial use.
Anyhow, since everyone seems to reflect their surroundings in the light of this event,
why should I be any better?
I, like many, just say enough. Once every
fourth year the society goes nuts over those people, and in the times between citicens distance
themselves from them, and they from us. Often we complain, saying they (politicians) only
put effort in for their own interests, but still yet, we allow them to continue. Not only that,
we actually give them our perspective on reallity to play with. Does it really make
a difference who's 'in controll' for 'our best interest', or is it time parlamentic
democracy was put aside in favour of something else, less consuming of time and
resources?
