All my past forums had died due to lack of users and/or activeness. Usually I'm the one who makes the stuff and gets everything set up, but in this case now I don't have anyone to advertise now.

Try interestin topics when setting up forums. Or better yet, let them create their own topics. Advertising is trick especially on the web. I have tried a few options including Adwords, but none got me the traffic i wanted too. Anyone else got better ideas?
