From this panel you can change the screen resolution, color depth, lighting effects and texture settings. If your computer doesn’t run smoothly while playing the game, lower or turn off some of the effects. This will greatly improve performance.

The FX panel setting may only be changed while you are on a map. To access the options panel in game press the Enter key to open up the chat console. Type /o and the press Return. The options panel should now be open. Select the FX tab and enable shader setting. This will allow you to enable the other effects. WARNING! These effects require a lot of computing overhead and will drastically reduce game performance.
