I just wondered, does anyone take part in sponsored runs for charity? If so, how far and for which charity?
Running for charity
Not exactly sponsored runs, but I love doing road races. They cost between US$10-$30 and usually the proceeds go to some charity. I usually just do 5 or 10Ks, but hopefully I'll try a marathon some day.
I love doing runs for charity, I do the run for the cure and many other various races. I do running and I enjoy it a lot. I also do road races. The events are a lot of fun and a great way to socialize, as with any other sports.
I did the last "Race for the Cure " in Rome. It's a charity race to collect funds to fight against breast cancer.
