I'm curious of how you all have your PC setup. well ill give you my setup and id like to hear back a somewhat similar format for your systems...

My HDD looks like this:
hda0 :: 70Gb = WindowsXP Media Center Edition SP2
hda1 :: 10Gb = Fat32 Com space (so the two can share files locally)
hda2 :: 70Gb = Knoppix (debian) 5.0 w/ FluxBox and KDE setup.
hda2 :: 1Gb = Reiser SwapSpace

im posting this on FireFox in Knoppix.

Well, my laptop looks a bit like:
Primary Partitions:
sda1: 40 MB: Dell Utilities/Diagnostics partition
sda2: 30 GB: Windows XP home (came with computer)
sda3: 3 GB: Some other Dell partition

Logical Partitions:
sda5: ~17 GB: Linux root partiton (/) - Ubuntu 6.06
sda6: 22 GB: Linux /home partition
sda7: 1.5 GB: Linux swap partition.

This is a 80 GB SATA drive, hence sda (as opposed to hda). I use the /home partition to share files between Linux and Windows (using the driver at http://www.fs-driver.org/ for Windows Ext2/3 access)
