Indication of a closed topic

How about an icon of some sort at the thread level to show which threads have been closed or locked? I just clicked three threads in a row intending to contribute only to find a mod had closed the damned thing, for reasons that elude me.

This isn't a gripe about the constant locking/closing of threads... just a request for some indication of such before I waste my time clicking/reading the thread.

There is, look on the left hand side when your browsing the topics

If you look closer there are images to evey thread representing:

Locked thread without new posts since your last visit.

Locked thread with new posts since your last visit.

new thread (or with new posts) since your last visit.

Read topic (or without new posts since your last visit)

You can verify that the locked icon is there, in this thread.
