Is it me or are more and more movies going direct to video? It seems like they are cranking out sequels of movies with unknowns and making them direct to video. I used to think the only one that did Direct to video was Steven Segal.
Does anyone know of a good direct to video movie?
I've noticed that too. Then again, there is a lot more promotion for films when they go to DVD. The studios earn the majority of their money for video sales.
I have this running joke about how all movies that go directly to video have French Stewart in them. The reason they go straight to video is because their terrible, and the creators don't have the money to get them in theaters, nor will any of them pick the movies up.
