The type face used for the body copy here. I can't see in the source, I only get a stylesheet. 
Can anyone tell me what type face >THIS< is?
I'm not understanding the question? What body copy where?

arial, or helvetica? i believe it's arial.
The Style Sheet says "Verdana, Arial, Helvetica".
It uses the first of them that you have.
So if you have Verdana on your computer, thats the font you see. If you don't, you see Arial. If you don't have that one either, you see Helvetica. If you have none of them, your computer uses another sans serif-font on your computer.
Most computers have Verdana installed. So I would believe thats the font you are seeing, not Arial.

About the topic question, Verdana for me. If you use Firefox download the edit css extra, then edit the css of this page remove the verdana so arial is first and the text changes

well the moderator that wrote it knows what I am talking about... and i surely wouldn't be asking what I ment in my post, nor am i talking about when the first moderator said something.... I'm talking about the backseat moderating
