If you would an allien and came from mars or any other part of universe what would be your plands for this world?

Am I a benevolent being with superior intelligence leaning slightly toward imperialism or an instinct driven creature which is hell bent on imperialism especially at the cost of the dominant bio-organism?
I'm going to say that I get to choose between the whole benevolence or not and say that I"m not an instictive being because then I wouldn't really have much choice in what I do, it would all be, well, instictive, no free will involved. So saying that I'm me and smiply on another planet, I would simply try to make contact with them, not get myself killed, and see what we can learn from each other. However I have the distict feeling that it would run as smoothly as I hope.
I'd open up an advanced computer company and blow windows and intel out of the water.
