however, the money in my account isn't increasing!!! can someone please explain to me the working of Google Adsense??? Confused

Make the ads more visible. When I first looked at your site, I didn't even notice the ads, I had to scroll down.

Try putting the ads so visitors can see them, try putting them between the logo and the content. Customise the colour to fit your website. It would do you much good this way.
