My old Cherokee has seen better days and I was thinking about
maybe getting something to to take it's place. But these days it seems all you can find are soccer mom SUVs. The XJ is no longer made so I'm curious what others might suggest.
I don't go rock climbing in it, but I do get off in the mud and deep snow frequently. The wife and I take it camping and also carry a couple of kayaks.
So I'm looking for cargo capacity, good traction control, manual transmission, a small turning radius, good power for hauling and day to day acceleration.
So, any thoughts on what I should be checking out?
