A non scientists guide to basic cosmology

Bikerman
Lots of misconceptions keep appearing about general cosmology and I though it might be useful to share a little paper I wrote a while ago for another forum I belong to (Elmhurst Labs in the UK). It's a basic guide to the universe written for the non science reader (with no difficult sums.)

Please feel free to change, copy, redistribute or whatever you want with it but please respect the ownership of the Doppler diagram because it is not mine and was provided on condition it is only used for educational purposes.

For the scientists out there - I know I have over-simplified to a large extent but I have tried to avoid reducto-ad-absurdum. If you think I've gone too far please feel free to let me know.

Regards
Chris
