MySQL versions & providers!

Hey, does anyone know what the difference is between MySQL 3.23 and MySQL 4.00 Databases and can anyone like give me some ideas of a web hosting site or company that has servers that uses MySQL 4.00 or above because all i can find are sites with MySQL 3.23 as standered, its kinda annoying, but any help would be gr8!

I'm sorry, you're question isn't totally clear. From what I understand of your question :

1. Sites using MySQL 3.x series are rare, especially as most of the world is moving to MySQL 5. Frihost I believe has MySQL 4.x series. Check you cPanel/DirectAdmin

2. Check the MySQL site (http://www.mysql.org) for comparisons between 3.x series and 4.x series releses of MySQL.
