This Day in Scottish History - 7th Sept

I thought I would add a little bit of litarray or intellectual content to this forum. I try to add a little comment about Scottish history each day and I ope you enjoy the diverse nature of the posts.

If I can I make it a bit more Global rather than parochial.

In a time when the BBC TV series seems to be having a bit of a boom, I thought I would add this event for 7th September.

1987 - Scots Actor Stars in ‘Dr Who’

Dunoon born Sylvester McCoy starred in his first episode of the science fiction cult series Dr Who on this day in 1987. He had been playing ‘The Pied Piper’ in London when he was selected for the part which made him the seventh Dr Who
