ripping sound track from dvd

i liked the b/g music of the movie aeon flux and i want to use some portion of this for my personal use(as ring tone Smile

) now, how could i do this? i am very new about DVD thing and ripping. if it was VCD or CD i know how to but DVD i dont. can you tell me what software i should use to record the sound and rip some portion of the movie? it would be very helpful

use dvddecrypter to rip the vob file

use virtualdubmod to "edit" the vob file. here you can save part of the footage as avi or just save only the audio in whatever format your computer have codec to do it.

both software quite easy to use and got some guide to help you to start play around with it.

If you can get hold of a copy of ImTOO DVD Audio Ripper (you can probably get a free trial) that will do the job perfectly.

You get a video window so you check which chapter you want and the whole pocess is clearly instructed and very easy and intuitive.
