Steve Irwin, the hugely popular Australian television personality and conservationist known as the "Crocodile Hunter," was killed Monday by a stingray while filming off the Great Barrier Reef. He was 44.

I really like this guy... so saaaad!!!!!

Yeah...that is really disheartening. I remember watching him all the time when I was small. But it makes one consider what are the chances of the barb of a stingray sticking him right through the heart? It must have been a huge stingray with a lot of power. It really is unfortunate.
