mx1000 button issue

Hey guys, I'm new to this forum, my first post Very Happy

I just got a MX1000 laser mouse from Logitech, however, when I open the program that came along with the mouse, the "forward" and "backward" button on the mouse stops working. But if I close the program, it starts to work again. Why is it doing this?? Thanks for any responses!

Have you check Wich one drive is using to control the mouse? I mean
Did you have a diferente Mouse before, Are you sure about this last mouse is not using the drives of the first mouse or maybe is wrong installed. Try uninstall all the mouse shoot down and reestart to install the new mouse again

I had that same problem, eventually I just shut the program down, since it was pretty useless anyways. I didn't need the zoom function, and I kept on pressing the app switch button by accident during games and it switched out.
