Hey, what is a good program to use for GIF animation, nothing to fancy or confusing, just to make fairly simple ones. I have tried a few but noone seem to work to well. Thanks Guys

photoshop is relatively easy. I can't think of any others off the top of my head, sorry.
i really like the gimp... or jasc paint shop pro animation shop...
paint shop animator is the easier of the good ones i think, u should try it, or try downloading an open source one

you could also go for swf to gif converters..
try to create a simple file in flash or swish then convert it into gif

Xara Xs is cool 2. Found it on a mag disc coupla months ago.

It's actaully better to use Studio 8's fireworks to make GIFs since Flash isn't exactly the best in orginazation of layers when making scenes(well at least in my mind. Flash Pro 8 really confuses me a lot, which is why I stick with making YTMNDs rather than flash animations).

flash is the easiest for me. you can just make your animation in the root timeline and publish it as gif and voila! you have your spicy gif!
yeah. I agree but flash ris cost way over £200 and the copies @school are crap cos they haven't registered them yet.
