Do you think you have a healthy way of life?
Do you think of yourself that you live a healthy life? And explain how you live.
I do sports, I swim, and I play badminton and I eat enough but not too much. So that's it.

I go outside, I am in Marching band, I swim, I play badmitton, volleyball, soccer, basketball, and I WAS on the football team.
i would say i eat healthily enough
but i probably need to exercise more
but i probably need to exercise more
I'm the opposite, I exercise enough, but I don't eat healthfully. I eat lots of junk foods and I drink occasionally, so that's not healthy, lol. I usually bike to work twice a week and walk home from work on two other days a week (a distance of 8 miles one way).
Hhmm.. concerning foods, I can say I eat healthy foods and that I eat a lot. But concerning other areas of being healthy, I don't think I'm living a healthy life. I don't exercise. Unlike before, I don't play sports anymore. I don't sleep much. I stay up all night. My parents are scolding me about abusing myself because I'm not sleeping properly. I'm not covering myself whenever rain pours (only if it's really really pouring hard).
However, I don't easily get sick. I rarely get sick. Can that be considered living a healthy life even if I'm not living healthily? XD

Haha..
I'm a medical student.. But it's so difficult for me to have a healthy lifestyle. It's difficult to get enough sleep. I wish there's around 30 hours a day so I can do so much more things..
Hmmm..
I love eating, I could eat as much as guys do but I don't do exercise. I get thin just by getting busy and studying and lack of nutrition.
I'm having a problem with my attitude, not wanting to eat if the food doesn't suit my appetite. But when my appetite comes I eat so much until I could eat nothing for 2 days..
I know it's unhealthy.
I always try to change that. But haven't succeeded yet. Ha ha.

I think I live healthily: I don't drink alcohol and don't smoke and I eat vegetables and fruits, but I could eat less another things.
I try to walk almost every day, but I could exercise more, too. Most of all, I guess it is important to keep you mind health and don't worry too much: this is the most difficult thing to do.

I think there are two answers to this question...
Physically:
(not too healthy)
Mentally:
(very healthy!)
I answered no in the poll - however I think my mental welbeing is more important to my health than my physical wellbeing - so my "real" answer is yes!
Physically:
- I drink WAY too much beer
- I sit WAY to much in front of my pc
- I eat too much snack food for my own good (though im in no way fat)
(not too healthy)
Mentally:
- I spend loads of time with people i like
- I go out a lot
- I have never really felt depressed
(very healthy!)

I watch what I eat. I have to in order to make sure I get enough nutrients -- I'm a vegetarian who only consumes dairy products produced from a small, local farm.
(Meat and animal products ARE very healthy, but NOT when they're produced on factory farms where they turn the animals into cannibals, don't let them exercise, and stuff them full of hormones and antibiotics. If you can find a small, local farm, please get your animal products there!! It's better for you, the environment, and the animals ^_^. Good book: Real Food by Nina Planck.)
I exercise in a gym 4-5 days a week. I also walk a lot and do active things on the other days.

I believe that I am the epitome of an unhealthy person. Due to my work I have a lot of stress and not a lot of time to eat lunch and whatnot so I find myself eating a lot of microwavable or junk food at work just as a fast meal. I get home very late from work so I never can go jogging or go to the gym. I try to move around at lot at work just so it counteracts the junk food and bad eating habits that I have but it doesn't seem to help too much. The problem with my work is I can't really do much because I have to work in front of a computer so when do I find a break I try to pace or walk around the office to get my blood flowing a little bit rather than just sitting in my chair.

Although it would appear that you maybe dont live a very healthy life, i dont believe your the "epitome of an unhealthy person".
The good thing (for you) is that you know that you arent living as healthy as you should and your therefor making an effort (however small) to improve.
Over time, im sure this mental attitude will result in you becoming a more healthy person.
I would like to say I am unhealthy since I was in form six.
I say unhealthy too because I am hunched over a computer a lot and drink a lot of caffeine. I get outdoors every week and exercise but not as much as I would like to. I still prefer computer jobs though where I can choose my own hours rather than be some ****** for a boss with a highschool degree that acts like he or she is hot stuff. Do you know what I mean? Anyone whose ever had a crappy job probably knows what Im talking about.
I walk for at least an hour a day but usually more and I do some form of sport for one hour a week in school. I'm not a huge food junkie and I do eat somewhat healthily but I could still stand to cut down on the chocolate. All in all, though, I feel like I'm pretty healthy compared to most people I know.
I believe that I live healthy by playing sport (soccer) and going to the gym four times a week however I think that I could eat healthier foods.
Looks like most of you have to start working on his/her healthy way of life
Yeah
I am healthy
I exercise 4 hours a day..Play Sports, Cricket, Soccer, AFL, Rugby..I eat healthy food
About 2 junk foods a day
I am healthy

I play sports : i like swimming and playing tennis but i dont have enough time for that : i study everyday and when i'm at home : i watch TV so it's not a healthy life
Hhmm.. concerning foods, I dont eat vegetables everyday : no time for that. No time for cooking healthy

i don't live particularly heathily.. i smoke (cigarettes and sticky icky), drink a fair bit, have coffee pretty often and skip breakfasts on most mornings.
to counteract these things i try to go running and lift weights as often as i can, and i love to cook, so good meals during the evening are a regular thing. i don't think i've come close to regaining all the health that i've lost though..

I've been an elite athletic untill about now so training and healthy food was a big part of my life and still is!!!
I don't smoke or drink.. ehh I meen... I don't smoke and don't drink eee.. in the mornings ? ! =) well I think I live an healthy life!

I do Karate, cycling and running. And I eat home-cooked foods, always a variety of different foods, and rarely eat at places like McDonalds. I don't smoke and hardly drink alcohol. So I would say I'm relatively healthy, although I could be healthier!
The way I live my life is horrible. I barely move, since I have so much homework that I have no time for exercise (laziness plays a role in that too), and instead of eating real meals I just snack on junk food all day. The only reason why I'm still as thin as I am is because luckily, my metabolism is fantastic. I'll have to change my ways soon though, before it catches up with me.
smoking; long time online; sleeping too late; there are too many unhealthy lifeway of mine
I think of myself I live healthy enough, I go swimming, play ping pong and go running. I eat no junkfood.
On the one hand I cycle into/from town twice every day, don't smoke and eat a (semi) balanced diet.
On the other had I drink excessively and love chocolate digestive swith all my soul.

I don't smoke and I hardly drink. Does that makes me healthy? Partly, I guess so. Staying healthy means leading a healthy life. A healthy life means eating the right food and having the right dose of exercise. I go to the gym about 4 to 5 times a week, trying to shape up and keep my body fit. For food, I try to cut down on oily stuff and eat more veges. I think the point is to eat different kinds of food that are deem good for health at moderate levels.
But that only takes care of the physical side. Well not really coz exercising help to relax and reduce mental stress too. But I think I need to go out more and make more friends and stop worrying unnecessarily. Easier said than done, huh!..

I cant really answer this question without considering the facts.
For one, I really think i eat healthy food. Lots of vegetables, meat and whatever. Meat maybe 2-3 times a month. I rarely go out to eat. Once in a month, maybe?
By "MEAT" i mean Non-veg.
On the other hand, i dont think i have enough exercise. Sure, i go biking and play volleyball, but maybe i spend a little too much time in front of the PC. 2.5 hours a day, and i am a student. is that too much?
Almost always i try not to compromise sleep. I have to get up to go to school early, about 6:30 or so. I sleep at about 10:30 or 11:00. Is that too less sleep?
I did not vote because ...... i am still confused!

Well I think that you live pretty healthily, but I advise you to go sleeping a bit earlier...
But you already know that.
But you already know that.
I'm sad to say that I don't live a quite healthy life... Although I play table tennis or basketball every day I just can't eat proper food. I'm very busy during the day and my lunch is usually at a fast-food restaurant...
Of course, I am very healthy, either from physical or psychological
After i started training Le Parkour my whole way of life changed, before i use to be lazy, sit all day, eat junk and stuff.
But now i eat healthy food, exercise a lot (running, acrobatics, team sports, gym...), i try to improve my body aswell as my mind and i'm doing quite well.. oh yea and i drink milk too ;p

Parkour, I've seen a lot of movies of that... How do you start with something like that?
Somehow I stay healthy I brush my teeth each day, I haven't had a cavity since I had baby teeth. I am of a healthy weight , and I don't have any other sort of underlying health problems, and I don't get ill very often (I usually get maybe a cold once or twice a year). Despite that I voted unhealthy because I don't keep regular sleeping hours, I eat out too often than not, and I do not exercise that often.
Is not this sufficient?
No I dont because I am so Lazy, I used to workout but now I have no energy.
I used to swim 4x a week when I was at uni, now I do none... but I try eat healthy... at least I think I do...
I spend too many hours in front of the computer, but I'm trying to do some exercise now. I go running on the beach once in a while, but it's not enough. I try cooking healthier food now, but sometimes it's difficult to achieve a correct combination of everything you need. I eat a yoghurt a day, I think that's good, drink at least a glass of fresh milk, and try to eat some fruit every day. I love meat, so we usually eat homemade hamburgers, or barbacues.
I try to live my life as healthy as possible. That is why I regularly go to the gym, eat the right kind of food and have the time to rest and relax. Trying to live a healthy lifestyle does not mean being strict to what you eat or to discipline yourself to do the right excercise and diet. I think it is more healthy if you give yourself the right amount of discipline and giving way to urges and cravings sometimes. Living a balanced life is healthy for me, it is not about being strict nor to lazy in observing different ways of obtaining a healthy life.
