Top and Fifth ,which do you like better?

Top Gear by BBC, or Fifth gear by Five TV, they are both fantasic UK car programs, which do you like better? Don't forget to add you comments and the reasen you choose any of them.
Both are great. In Top there is Clarksson (humour) & Stig (pro driving). In Fifth Tiff is like Jeremyand Stig inone (humour and pro driving). So I can`tvote for only one of them 
I chose Topgear, because its just more fun to watch.

I think the shows might target slightly different markets. I watch them both everynow and then. Did anyone else see the car soccer? I thought that was awesome. The other show is more serious IMO, not as many silly pranks/gags.
I did see one episode of Fifth Gear where they tested an older Benz to see how it would stand up to a car test track. but don't watch it enough to know who is who. I find Top Gear much more enjoyable to watch.
I have always watched Top Gear, so I have to throw my vote to that show. I have watched 5th Gear, but it just does not quite have the same feel to it. It's just a personal thing. I love both shows, since there's nothing really it's equal in the US. Yeah we have a whole bunch of car shows, but nothing really to the caliber of either of those shows. I wish they would release it on DVD, and if they have a DVD available in the US, then someone please point me in the right direction.
Read on Top gear's website that Richard hammond got hurt bad during a shoot for top gear. anyone hear anything on this?

Yeah, he got brain damaged in a high-speed crash.
Last I heard, he was walking and talking again - I guess thats a good sign.

I voted Top Gear because the tests carried out are original, fun and creative. I must admit sometimes it's a bit over the top and would probably sends out a wrong message to the youngsters. eg, burnt down a caravan and breaking a new car autowash.
Man, I'm glad to hear hammond is doing better, But I'm sorry to sound so selfish but I'm bummed that they pushed the air date for the fall season.
And I wonder how this accident is going to effect the show.

i voted Top Gear due to the multiple instances of caravan destruction alone hehe.. though Fifth Gear is stepping up their "Wreck My Ride" segment this series and that previously mentioned mercedes crush last season

Yeah, "Hamster" crashed in a new Vauxhall ( Opel ) while he was going around the 500 k/ph
But he is now up and walking again. I'm am relieved to hear that, because they said (Dunno if it is a Rumor ) if he did not recover, they would stop Top Gear. Which is By The Way much better than 5th gear because that is rubbish!

I would try Ebay or Amazon.com
Top Gear is just so much more entertaining to watch. Infotainment if you like where Fifth Gear is striaght up and down car reporting/journalism. Fifth Gear sometimes offers more information and I learn more watching it but it has never had me literally in fits of laughter. Top Gear wins hands down.
