"The MSN Beta Team would like to invite you to sign up for an upcoming MSN Messenger beta program. During this beta program we will be testing a new version of MSN Messenger.
We are looking for a group of testers willing to actively participate and provide useful feedback to our development teams. This will be a short beta program lasting only about 5 weeks".
Good news: these selected "few" will be able to invite their friends and family to test the software with them. The new version, rumored to be 7.5, is expected to be officially out within two months and, according to a trusted source (*waiting for his permission to credit*) it will come with a new feature similar to Plus!'s Emotion Sounds. |
Its released :O

Windows Media Player security patch, the EULA (the "license agreement" you click on) says that you give MS the right to install digital rights management software, and the right to disable any other programs which may circumvent DRM on your computer." So if you want your machine secure, you also want microsoft to have free reign on your PC.
I'm sure if you read the EULA for MSM you will find similar items.
Isn't that special. Windows Media who?
OMFG ITS SO COOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I saw the screenies at mess.be and here!

Not illegal it's not warez.
I'm liking the way that MSN Messenger 7.5 is looking.
It's definately a step up from MSN Messenger 7.0. I had the Beta version of MSN Messenger 7.0 ever since it first popped up, and I'm already into this Beta version.
I was looking at a few sites at screenshots on how IE 7 is looking, it's sorta scary to see the direction that it's heading towards. I can agree with the tabbed browsing, but it looks like they're removing a ton of the buttons on the top and leaving only 2 of them (the Back and Forward) buttons the same size. I know that IE 7 is a very private Beta, but it might be possible to configure it in some way possible to be like IE 6 ?
Screenshots I found of IE 7 so far :
- http://s05.imagehost.org/view.php?image=/1283/IE7_activewin.jpg
- http://s05.imagehost.org/view.php?image=/1283/ie7about.jpg
I didn't intend on changing topics, but I thought it was relevant to express my feelings about IE 7 Beta from Microsoft. Sorry.
- Mike.
Lol, I swore that I searched for the topic (using the SEARCH form for the forum) and didnt find this topic
Anyways, I think its way cool to have this new version of MSN Messenger
WOW
it looks so cool, i want to try it
what's new on the 7.5 beta version?
well msn messenger 7.5 final is out now
you can get it at the official msn messenger website here: http://messenger.msn.com/Xp/Default.aspx
So now we can change the title thead from MSN Messenger 7.5 beta to simply MSN Messenger 7.5
are the mods on leaves or off from holidays ?
haha
relax. i was just joking.
YA, is it worth trying it? or is the 7.0 enough?
I downloaded it
it's wonderful
thanx alot
Make sure you don't BETA test on you main computer - its is guranteed to crash as soon as you put the software on it. Have a second computer for testing.
