Well this is kinda old now, bur they will be bringing it here. there is a link to an article i just found. the price may be a bit hefty. but I think well woth it .
My new dilema... buy a new 08 Infiniti G35 or save and wait for the SKyline.

this was announced months ago, i've known about it coming back since late last year. there is a ton of info online. some of the nissan dealerships might even have more info.

last i heard nissan were dropping the skyline name, and calling them quite simply, the R35....
they're gonna have to be something really special though to appeal to me like the old ones!

I have been told that they will indeed be called the Skyline. I'm sure there are plenty of websites that have information about it. I can do some more research and get back to ya. Right now I'm busy working on websites. Althought I can't complain because I make good money doing it. Right now I'm taking a break from my customers sites, in part because I can't do much more till I have another meeting. But for now, I'll see if I can dig up some more info.
Ok, according to the Nissan USA Website, the 2009 Nissan GT-R will make its world debut at the 2007 Tokyo Motor Show. It will go on sale in Japan in Fall 2007. U.S. and Canada will follow in Spring 2008. Base price of $75,000 according to Car & Driver

Yeah, The Skyline is comming out to the United States, However I think its still going to be under Nissan's Name, there was a dispute over which company it should go under, Nissan or Infiniti, in my opinion i would want to stick with the Nissan because well, nissan doesnt have really good cars like their sister company Infiniti.
I also heard that its not going to be cheap like the 350z it may be more expensive than the G35. However i hope it keeps the same design and the GTR logo.
I personally think that BMWs are better than Japanese Imports. [My opinion]

nice cars, great power potential, but skylines are like rich kids corsa's/civics over here, so they're pretty common! I wouldnt have one for that reason alone.
Funny thing is, the R35... my mate took a photo of the back end of one (all be it, it was a poor photo) parked in Glasgow, and it had the skyline badge. Whether or not the car was real, it did look it! Still cant understand why they'd have had one in Glasgow though!

i have one but i got arestide for drivin it in new england and they impounded it but i have it back sittin in my garge so it sucks i cant take it out

still really curious as to why my mate saw one of these (concept shape) parked in glasgow a few months back!

I see quite alot of skylines, mostly gtses.
I dont really see what all the fuss is about them really.
There are 3 GTRs in the city I live in, one is white and has a horrible body kit, the other two are blue and always seem to be driving around together (his and hers perhaps?).
The gtrs are nice cars, and make reasonably good power (or so Im told) but I dont think I would ever buy one.

They had a reputation for being a somewhat affordable car that could give High end sports cars a run for their money. The gtr's anyway.
The looks of the last few models are what hooked me. The new one is eh in looks. but I figure I will grow to like them.

I love Nissans and drive one - sadly a lot less moest than a Skyline.
The Skyline is a nice car but here where I lived more people plumped for the Subaru Impreza.
The Skylines I looked at were wonderfully chunky, men's cars if you know what I mean.
A great car by a great manufacturer.
