My name is Chad Duffy, I am 18 years old, currently living in the humid abyss known as florida-land in the usa. I love this land, I don't love government curruption, and all that stuff, but this isn't the time or place to start ridiculing petty tyrants and pointing fingers, this is my introduction to you all.
Growing up in the United States is a great blessing and burden all at once,
A dream of mine is to move somewhere exotic and free someday where I can study plants, and write books about lifes multifaceted voyages.
I only see out of my right eye, I had this operation as an infant that blinded my left eye for the most part, I see shadows and stuff out of it, anyhow my right vision and my third eye are my primary viewer lenses. This is interesting, well my left eye is smaller than my right, but I think it's interesting because I'm unsure if I actually have depth perception.
Not sure if it's trivial but it does affect my hobbies for good bad or indifferent, I bump into people on my left alot, hehehe.
I'm a capricorn and a deep analyzer on various subject, I love to read, this year it's been alot of metaphysics, mayan calendar, weirdoid stuff, I love all subjects really. An earthy person, I try not to be superstitious, after reading alot of Carlos Castenada how could I not be just a little.
For hobbies I like to study the I Ching, and the Mayan Calendars, there isn't just one calendar used by the mayans there was more like 50 different ones, the one ending in 2012 is just one called the long count, it's not the literal end of existance but a trademark of the start of a new world age. I study the 260 day Tzolkin mostly.
I like the ancient mythologies and philosophies, my other hobbies include skateboarding... I'm best on flat ground.. can do all sorts of tricks...
I had a revelation the other day thinking... life is basiclly all about learning various tricks... anyways...
When I was a kid I had a bug collection, and whenever I am older I'd love to start a new one, camping outside in florida one really gets... hmm... freaked out... by the ambience of the insect world.
I started making sites when I was 13, I learned html by disected source codes and figuring them out, I am a newbie to php, and dilligently want to study further into it, as for my art skills, I like to draw, mostly 2d patterns and stuff, I love adobe photoshop and The GIMP.
I use developers pad, a good freeware source editor, and photoshop for most my works, I am getting into flash slowly but surely.
I make simple animations too at times.
Music is an essential nutrient for me, I love being turned on to new stuff, really don't have any favorites, lately Here Comes the Sun has been stuck in my head.
I play guitar, don't YET have any good recordings.
There's an infinity more to the entity of myself, but I think I should get into the site I am inspired to create.
It's a dream I've had forawhile called zenki revolutions..
The name comes from the term ki (chi, qi), the subtle energy field known by martial artist and alternative healers, and zen is a virtuous term, about the truth of the here and now, revolutions stating, the turns of cycles, life running full circle, a cultural revolution.
The site is a collaboration of ancient and contemporary wisdom for a time that could truly reap benefits from it, it has no major emphasis of right or wrong peoples, it's kinda a unified collage of universal commonsense, art, and feeling.
You would see spinning animations of yin and yang symbology, which is simply an illustration of the alternating current of energy, quotes, stories, and original essays on the latest scientific, and pseudoscientific discoveries, and links, articles on peace movements, alternitive health, etc.
There will be an art gallery with links to visual and audio underground, or lesser known artist, several being close friends, also a simple ezine with free associated articles relative to things happening in the world.
One section would be the Poet's tree which would be a place where users submit though,feeling provocative poetry, I'm sure conditions will apply on the content,
The sites emphasis will be a self composed herbal teaching people about the benefits plants play in our lives, with many do it yourself guides to growing benefitial culinary herbs.
There will be many other do it yourself articles as time goes by.
The goal of my site is to spark the creative fire within others who like myself would like to redeem there own souls and the world for our great grandchildrens sake.
Overall its a blend of the elements, society, philosophy, and alternatives to everything, especially new looks on health, and medicine.
So far, I have a ton of work to do, but like I said earlier I'm a capricorn we like it complex and all that jazz.
Hope this wasn't too long, I am a man of many words, most of them I'm sure weren't nessesary, either or, it's great to hear I have a chance for free hosting for a project that brings much joy to my heart.
