No injuries were reported although both vehicles were slightly damaged, it said.
The woman, identified only be her surname, Li, said her dog "was fond of crouching on the steering wheel and often watched her drive," according to Xinhua.
"She thought she would let the dog 'have a try' while she operated the accelerator and brake," the report said. "They did not make it far before crashing into an oncoming car."
Xinhua did not say what kind of dog or vehicles were involved but Li paid for repairs. |

I think someone has been watching too much family guy. I know brian the dog can drive but well it is only a cartoon. I think this woman should have her licence taken away from her for the carelessness actions that she has done. I mean this could have caused seriouse injury.But then we wouldnt have been entertained.
Now, the only thing that could've topped the actual story would be to find out that several days later at the local DMV, the dog was seen applying for a driver's license.

Yeah, that is pretty crazy, but as previously stated, yeah, it is pretty entertaining, the stupid things people do and try to do.
At least nobody got hurt, that's a good thing. The bad thing is that either the woman or the dog may end up with points on the license. I wonder what the insurance claim form states. Hehe... I would love to see that. I bet her insurance would go sky high 
I mean, could you imagine? Putting your life in the hands of the family dog. 
Not something I would try, but who am I to stop you from giving your dog driving lessons. As awkward as it may be, she may be on to the next trend!

Either way, my opinion is,

Crazy woman. Never heard of such a stupid thing. Wonder when any state on earth makes the law to don't try to teach your dog to drive. lolwho ever said women are the worst drivers or men are the worst drivers were both wrong - apparently the dogs take that award. But then it begs the question....which animal would be the worst driver?
If this was the US, she would be suing the automake for not telling her not to let her dog drive.
