I alos play badminton, one day a week, I have done for approx 5 years now. I do enjoy it aswell very good for fitness and stamina.
Some people who I knwo think it is really easy as the shuttle doesn't go that fast but believe me it does. Badminton is very fast and furious. Lots of fun though.

so Discovery. may i know where u from?
many people playing badminton in your place?
I'm from England. I think it's quite popular, as I see it played often at the sports centre.
It's a nice sport, although very hard to play.
I play badminton nearly every friday for 3-4 hours and I must say it became my favourite sport.
You must have good reactions, have to run fast and hit the shuttlecock hard.
Many people think badminton is easy and not exhausting, but then they didn't play 'real' badminton. If you use a shuttlecock with feather skirts, this game is very fast. My whole body hurts after I played badminton for some hours, because you have to run a lot, but playing badminton with friends is very fun. Also, you do something for your body.
I love badminton!
