fedora core 4 start apps

prongs_386
hi,
I am wanting to start some programs when the computer boots.. and this has to be done before i login, because with my setup, I don't actually have the computer logged in at all.

I want vncserver ran

and inside that vnc instance i want a terminal open and a command entered in that.
I also want a couple of wine programs started in the vnc.

How can achieve this?

fedora can run vncserver at boot time then u can just use vnc from other computer, logon, run terminal, whatever u wish

yeah ok, but say in the startup apps setting, what commands do i enter if i want a terminal open and running a program... if i just run the program straight then it acts as a daemon wheras I want it in foreground.
And I need to know the command to start a program using wine.

Try doing bash -h

To run a command in bash it was something like
Code:
bash -x command

IIRC.
