Have you see the install of Drupal. Installing on locarl server for test, I mean.

A friend told me about Drupal, he said that Drupal was cool, just for test, I found Joomla.

Installing Joomla was just a few clicks. Drupal send me a README that look a guide for installation of MS-DOS.

The cms I really like is PHP-Fusion.
It's simple to install and it's really easy to modify to how you want it to look and work.
