Help needed with dreamweaver

Hey, i'm trying to design my site but everytime I put a picture or something onto dreamweaver, it just stays in the top left corner, and I can't move it anywhere. Does anyone know how to move them or can't you? I want to move them further down to create a nav bar. Thanks.

Here's what I've gathered. When you first import the image its in the top left corner like you said. In order to move it you can't just drag it, you've got to move it like you move a line of writing in a word processing program. BUt in order to use the Enter key to make space there has to be at least one space before it. So change from Design to Code, and enter <br> (page break) before the image tag, Now when you go back to the designer view there will be a space before the Image, now you can just press enter to move the image down a line or two.

There might be an easier way... but I installed the program 25 seconds ago and that was the way that worked first for me.
