I'm not quite sure I understand the 5 post requirement. Seeing as I'm new to the web design industry, does this mean once I post 5 comments, such as this, to any forum I will be eligable for free webhosting without ANY ads??

They need to be good, non-SPAM posts. And you must also stay active (no negative points) to keep your hosting.
I've never been fond of the trapdoor spider model: post before requesting. I don't, however, have a problem with a monthly posting requirement.
Yes. You need to posts 5 posts and have 10 points and you get your account! It is really great!
