My wife and I enjoy playing two-player board games. We're not big fans of games that are just pure chance. Instead, we've really enjoyed card based games such as Reiner Knizia's "Lost Cities" and Stephen Glenn's "Balloon Cup" (both released by Rio Grande Games / Kosmos). Can anyone else recommend any good two-player games that we should try that are in the same vein in terms of quickness/complexity/mutual appeal? Gameboardgeek has an excellent list here but we don't know which of these many, many choices are any good. Suggestions are welcome!
