God Blessing
The Lord watches over you - the Lord is your shade at your right hand. Psalm 121:5
The Lord watches over us. He knows the path we walk and He is our shade at our right hand side so that no harm or evil can come near us. He protects us and under His wings we find refuge. His eyes are upon you always, so that He can uphold you in times of fear, trials and tribulations. When the Lord is with you do not fear, for He is your shade by your right hand side.
Prayer,
Heavenly Father, I come before your presence. Lord I know that your eyes are always upon me and you are my shade at my right hand side. Lord, this morning I come before you with the assurance that you watch over me and are aware of my entire situation. Lord you who watch over me neither slumber nor sleep. Lord with this hope and faith I commit everything into your loving hands. All this I ask in Jesus name. Amen

if you are praying to God, why do you ask it in Jesus' name?

God Blessing
I call on you, O God, for you will answer me; give ear to me and hear my prayer. Psalm 17:6
Call on the name of the Lord this morning for He is here to give ear to your cry and will answer your prayer. Our Lord is a Lord of compassion. In His arms you find comfort and joy. When you call on the name of the Lord, be assured that God has heard your prayer and has sent His mighty power and provision in response to it.
Prayer,
Lord Jesus, I come before your presence this morning. Lord I call unto you. Lord you are a God who is attentive to my cry for help. Lord I thankyou for doing everything necessary for me, so that I can enjoy your richest blessings. Lord with faith and assurance I commit everything into your loving hands. All this I ask in Jesus name. Amen.

I doubt this is what your looking for, but its pretty much a tradition based on a slightly skewed understanding of verses in John 14 that reads along the lines of "whatever you ask for in my name I will do." (paraphrased) Although now its more of a phrase to signify the end of a prayer, espically in traditions where everyone says amen together at the end of prayers.
When we ask with the name of jesus because jesus christ is died for us. so we are asking with that name........
As a friend I do wish you
The best of life's blessings
And freedom from sickness and pain.
May your prayers and oblations,
As blooms of carnations,
Flourish in sunshine and rain.
May the blessings of heaven
Be showered upon you
With favor from God and from man.
May you harvest with pleasure
The fruits of your labor
To share with whoever you can.
May the dew in the morning
Refresh and delight you,
And your days be filled with great peace.
May your nights without number
Be filled with sweet slumber;
Your dreams filled with hope ne'er cease.
May your mate and your children
Bequeathed and beloved
Be cherished as jewels set in gold.
May your joy blend with laughter,
Both now and hereafter,
As the days of your life unfold

God Blessing
When Iam afraid, I will trust in you. In God, whose word I praise, in God I trust; I will not be afraid. Psalm 56:3-4
When your trust is placed on the Lord you do not need fear or be afraid of anything. For the Lord is with you. In His word you find strength, peace, comfort and joy. The word of the Lord is there for you to hope and trust. God’s word will instruct you and show you the right path to go in. Do not be afraid for the Lord is with you.
Prayer,
Heavenly father, I come before your presence. Lord this morning I put all of my hope and trust on you. Lord take away this fear that is in my heart and let my heart be filled with your joy, peace and comfort. Lord let me not be afraid of anything for you are with me and in you I find refuge. Lord I commit everything into your loving hands. All this I ask in Jesus name. Amen.
I call to you, O Lord, everyday; I spread out my hands to you. Psalm 88:9
So far you have just been calling unto the Lord with your hands spread out. This morning call unto His name with faith, and receive the blessings He has for you with both hands. The Lord has heard your prayers and He is near to answer them. All that you have to do now is reach out and claim.

wow, spam in the form of a prayer, its amazing
For the Lord takes delight in his people; he crowns the humble with salvation. Psalm 149:4
The Lord takes delight in you this morning. The more time you spend in the presence of God, He grants you with more peace, patience, joy, strength and love. It’s this love that draws you closer to Him and He takes delight in you. The more you humble yourself the more he crowns you with His riches. So whatever decisions you face today commit them to God and ask Him to guide you for He takes delight in his people.
in the beginning was the Word,
and the Word was "Arrrgh!"

may his noodly appendage touch us all and imbue us with its carbohydrate based goodness, for he who creates midgets and mountains, and places beer volcanoes and stripper factories in heaven, must be almighty

And the Lord writ upon His divine blog, "So I totally created light today. I love creating stuff. I think I'm gonna do more creating tomorrow too. Oh, and here's a meme I snagged from my friend, GodFanNo1."
I'd like to point out that double posting, even in the form of a prayer, is against the forum rules.
